The island of Kauai, born waiamea, Kauai, I have many kanaka maoli ancestors on all islands of Hawaii including niihau, I an a descendent of the Mona family, my family are from all parts of Kauai , last known places of residents, kalalau valley, mahaulepu, poipu, koloa, makawele,waiamea, just to mention a few . my great grand father is berried in a traditional tomb in the nibble of a gulf course right before kukuiula store. One partial extended from mahaulepu all through koloa town including kukuiula, which is now being sold off for a million every 10000 sq feet we lost many acres of land over the years while most of us live in poverty.
