  • Good Day,

How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately.I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on this email( ubabawauh@gmail.com ) for the full details,
    Have a nice day

    Thanks God bless.

    Mrs Abiola.

  • sugi - i'm so glad to hear of all the good things going on with your 'ohana. everyone looks great all grown up in the photo and you not a day over 21! just gorgeous as always.

my keiki is almost 2 - loves eating and dancing...he's such a joy. and his blond hair and blue eyes are still going strong.

Keola is still working in construction and on the weekends teaches the carpentry apprentice classes at HCC. He also tries to get into the mountains to do some dirt bike riding. he's looking forward to the summer so he can get out on the ocean on his boat for some fishing too. still having some late winter swells out this side.

I learned how to quilt last year and want to take a class now in Hawaiian quilting. I'm also doing lots of genealogy research - and discovered a wonderful photo of my maternal great-grandmother - quilting.

My mom said she quilted everyday with a lady friend on her porch in Kapaa and they would speak 'olelo hawaii all day and just laugh and laugh. I'll probably post her photo on here one day.

One friend who saw it - who has a lot of mana - commented and asked if she was very kolohe person. which was interesting to me cause from the photo - it's really just a serious photo of her concentrating on her stitching - and yet he was correct in his assessment as she was indeed very kolohe.

let's keep in touch more often now...maybe even that raincheck lunch date, yeah...

    love,
    Yvette
  • Hey Sugi,

Hey, thanks for commenting back to me. My nephew Larry really speaks highly of you...he said, he learned alot from you and that your are just a very sweet person. I told him, yep, that's Sugi...always smiling, full of joy and just a great shines from you. Give Mahealani my aloha.

I'm involved with many projects and reunions. One is the Pa'ao to Hewahewa reunion in Waimea Valley and another project in Waimanalo, to perpetuate our culture and sense of place in our homelands with A'o and having a great time.

Thank you for your condolences. Mom was looking forward to leaving this hell...she was a trooper to the end. I miss her but I'm sure she's in a better place. Infact, at the end it seemed she was having a great time actually talking, singing and was happy as if she was in a luau...it was something to watch.

Hey, let's get together sometime for lunch. I'll let A'o know and we can have a reunion.

Take care Sugi...love and aloha always,
    Kawehi.
