I have been listening to tevaka tamahana on you tube.
I miss my grandchildren and great grands. Life was pretty much tough back in the 60s and 70s (I was on Kauai with two little babies) living on the beaches. Came home had two more children and became an activist, which is why I'm on maoli world. So I thank you all for posting 'life' on Kauai. I did meet tevaka group at UH. I'm disappointed that I did not really know about their music when they came to Hawaii. They were polite and respectful about their mixture of music and being from different parts of the pacific. I think so we going go work next week...what u did with ur pay check...did u spend it yet? I just change mines today...I went to the bank on the day we got our check I think I went kinda to late cause the bank was close already...lol...its good now...I talk to u more laters take care and god bless
