  • Aloha e Kim, Pehea oe? I remember someone named LaFrance but forgot her last name. I don't have your genealogy line and would like to know how we are connected to one another. I do have the Kupono and Nakuaihaaweawe line info and it is an interesting one. There are so many duplicate names of Kanehailua. We often go to Kona, where we come from, born and raised there, to visit the resting place of my kupuna. U take care ohana. Much aloha.
  • aloha again Kim,
I wasn't really pau connecting with you. I born and raised in Kona so my line has the kuleana of the mookuauhau. My eldest tita, was the keeper, her name is Ella Alcon. She has since passed, and so my tita Kawena and I have the kuleana now. Can we meet or connect in some way. Kahea mai, cuzn Flo 354-5035. mahalo
  • Ewelina mai e Kim,
I am also a descendant of Kupono of Kalaoa, N. Kona. I descend from Kupono and Nakuaihaaweawe who had, KAIAMA, KANEHAILUA, KAUKALIINEA, the sons and PULEIMOKU, and ANAPEHE, the daughters. I descend from the KANEHAILUA KUPONO line, my greatgrfather and NALU MAKUA, great grandma. My grandmother is MOKIHANA KANEHAILUA aka KUPONO, her brothers were
WAHINEKAPU KANEHAILUA, whose descendants live in NANAKULI, one of them being ABIGAIL SALES ohana, and the others in N. Kona still and another bro. Kauinui
