My family is centered around Maktan(Mactan), the Visayan island (Pilipinas) where Datu LapuLapu took the head of the invader Magellan. I have been raised on the Great Turtle Island (colonial name "America"), & currently live in the SF Bay Area. My Manay (Elder Sista) Judy Talaugon suggested I join this community. I would like to connect w/ folks who support Indigenous/Roots Consciousness, especially those who love Reggae music, since I am a DJ who is a member of the KPFA Radio Reggae Collective.     Warm Greets Braddah K! I hope you'll add these cousins to your friends list. These are the best and most talented around - I respect their ways. They are all love and so true.

    I will help - I believe we can cultivate amazing possibilities for a ROOTS radio show which reflects the traditional trade routes Cuz!
    You know my passiones - and One of the trade routes could be this music from here to Mactan your traditional lands to Africa or visa versa.
