    I'm glad your leg is getting better. I toootally understand what you mean about the sense of freedom regarding transportation--I caught TheBus all throughout my college years. I didn't get my license until I was 23, since my friends would drive me around when we went out. :P So is there any hope of you rejoining the Papakōlea team once you're done with physical therapy? If not, who is going to be the other teacher? I'm like a little kid--I do NOT like change. ;) Are you going to school full-time?

    I'm actually excited at the prospect of Kamaliʻo getting to go to Tumblebus. She is insanely active (much to my dismay! :P), and I know she'll LOVE it. I am just not excited about being there for the pledge. I think that was the reason I just started going later and later...I used to always get there on time, and then when they started that last year, I just didn't want to be there for that. I feel really awkward walking out with her, but I also feel strongly that we shouldn't be sheep and just go along with it. *sigh* I know that she misses out with the name song--she really likes when I sing it at home.

    By the way, is Kamehaʻililani your sister? I knew her from UH or the Leo Kaiāulu program...I can't remember which. And Kamanaʻo too! :) Tell them I said hi! :) (My middle name is Kuʻikahi.)

    Summertime is going well for us, but I know that Kamaliʻo will be excited to go back to school and see all of her friends. :) I'm just dreading September when she can start on the Tumblebus and then I'll REALLY have to leave on time! :P

    How are things with you? How's your leg?
