President Grover Cleveland designated April 30, 1894, as a day of prayer and repentance over the U.S. role in the overthrow of the Hawaiian government. Let us continue the vigil to End the Cultural Genocide of the Hawaiian people on April 30 and also on the last day of each and every month until a Hawai'i Official Languages Act like Canada's is adopted by the State Legislature.
Will you please share your ideas on this Discussion Board (and, if possible, on www.causes.com/h2o ). Also, please email me if you would be willing to serve on either a local or central Vigil Committee.
