      Digging in the archives, decoding military communication, Louis Agard, finds a document that proves the invasion of Hawaii for U.S. interests was planned and plotted 6 months prior to the overthrow. It was not Doles doing alone, the U.S. government was in charge of it all. Jan 17th 1893 was planned months before it happened. Which makes sense... we always blame the provisional puppet government... and the committee of safety... but they were simply marionettes in the hands of the puppeteer. The puppeteer was the United States of America. The U.S. did not back the over throw... they orchestrated it.
      There was no overthrow. Just a failed attempt at creating a civil war in Hawai'i which our Queen was too smart to bite at. There is that issue of having no treaty of annexation... That being said - The Kingdom still exists. This only proves there was actis reus behind Hawai'i's war crimes, and identifies the criminal as the United States Government.
      Please share to spread this and educate ourselves. In 2016 we should stop using the term U.S. "backed" overthrow... no this was a U.S. invasion. An unprovoked invasion of a friendly neutral country for U.S. interests that would stop at nothing to see they got their way no matter how many laws they broke.
      Hawai'i was the first to taste the wrath of U.S. expansionism 123 years ago on January 17th of 1893, since then, U.S. military "interventions" and regime changes, for soil and oil spread all around the world. China, Brazil, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Algeria, Albania, Angola, Bolivia, Bosnia, Brazil, British Guiana, Cambodia, Chile, Congo/Zaire, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Dutch Guiana, Ecuador, Egypt, El Savador, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Greenland, Grenada, Guam, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Iceland, Indonesia, Jamaica, Japan, Kuwait, Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Macedonia, Nicaragua, Mexico, Morocco, Panama, Philippines, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Taiwan, East Timor, Turkey, Uruguay, USSR, Venezuela, Vietnam, Virgin Islands, Yemen, and Yugoslavia... the list continues to expand, and millions of lives have been lost, including American lives.
      In the words of Martin Luther King. "An injustice anywhere, is a threat to justice everywhere."
      This statement seems to historically ring true for what happened in the middle of the Pacific Ocean to a tiny island nation, now these same islands are used to train the military to invade other countries, under the fake facade of instilling democracy, often without warrant. Regime change wars all started in The Hawaiian Kingdom was the Garden of Eden of American Expansionism.
