    • I hope to be camera savvy soon, not sure how I can do this.  But, if one goes to Laulani's facebook, Pono Kealoha, one can hear and see a lot which what went on.  The city did not anticipate the technology we have today that can instantly go to the world.  We were blessed to have two occupy America on hand at Keeau's that did a lot of USTREAM during the sweep.  The world got to see this paradise stuff of the native Hawaiian people.

The frontline battle is the Coastal Zoning Management, it is all about food security and the US government and their military are doing everything possible to carve out this food security for native Hawaiians out of the equation.  And I suck at number crunching, so I am trying to reach out to people that are good at this!

  • Aloha Princess,

I'm still working with the people of Keeau, it is so sad and heartbreaking for me.  First, the social media and the community loath their very existence because of the looks of poverty.  In otherwords, the houseless have other people's discards, (reduce, recycle, and reuse) which is shameful to those that discarded their junk, instead of filling their landfills.  Secondly, I'm deep within this particular community to know a lot of people don't do drugs.  What's so interesting is we talk about sustainable, but do we walk the talk?  People of Keeau are the ones that do walk the talk and our future generation are better off because of their life style.

Our Keeau housless have not used electricity, treasured other people's discarded trash and they lived off the aina.  I listen to their stories and it's like listening to my dad's age group.  The days of honest humility, unlike, the hardened hearts or stupid po'o and ill soul's of today.   Every time a notice of eviction goes out someone dies.  I am not able to see through this at the moment.

This morning which we do each year and that is to give Ho'okupu at Nuuanu, so been up all night--need rest!

I gave my two pu'u little shells from and for Ashton Brown.  The three year old that was run'ed  down by a drunken driver high on 'ice' too.  It was my way of healing, I don't know about closure--can't go there at the moment.

Mahalo for all your kind thoughts!

One more thing they are bulldozing the entire area and they stopped because they found 'iwi', how dumb can they be to think that their was no iwi.  thanks again

    • mahalo,

I wish I had answers for solutions which is needed badly!

  • Aloha Princess,

We just completed a debriefing with all those that came from different parts of Oahu to help out at Keeau's.  Our only regrets that we couldn't do more.  But, Kupuna Rapoza is okay, I just spoke to him and he is doing okay and safe!

This process is always difficult in the aftermath of the bulldozer's.

  • i pray for more to heed the warning and to assist you Kupuna Kaohi to IMUA (move forward) and to be Heard loud of the Hewa's that is happening on your Kingdom Hawaiian island of Oahu.......may the majority aide the manority (our hawaiian heirs), and make a difference for our people and make known of the hewa's, that this illegal fake state of oahu have done to our Sacredness......amene for the immediate REMOVAL of the Hewa's (wrongful Criminal Acts) against our Kingdom of Hawaii by the illegal inturders of Usa.....amene~~~da princess of Loko O Mokuhinia~~~

  • Princess

Drop down to Culture and check out the on going conversation I am having with "team up to stop the bombing"

  • media attention is so needed concerning KEEAU.......a famliy in need to be assigned to a family in government, oha, chna, for this what this illegal government have done to our Recognised Native Hawaiians.....this illegal state of oahu have allowed this to happen this long creating.....Hawaiian Homeless on our Hawaiian Kingdom Islands as Oahu~~~

thank you for sharing and keeping our Maui Nui updated...for we have our own Battles dealing with one way tickets from the mainland of homelessness to our maui nui.....and this needs to stop immediately~~~

because of the influx of the over Population of mainlanders of strangers.....we are left wtih this issue that this government can not MONITOR, LIMIT and CONTROL keeping order on our Hawaiian Kingdom Islands~~~

and we now need to Monitor, Limit and Control our Land use to be used by our Recognised Native Hawaiians not by this illegal state of oahu votes and election conducted by the majority of outsiders of our Kingdom Hawaiian Islands~~~hewa!
