After work I stopped in to say hello to some friends of mine at the Waianae Boat Harbor and the word is out that the 'authorities' will be sweeping at the end of the month.
Many children that attend schools across the street are stressed, especially those that are from Kamaile Elementary. Firing their Principals does not seem right in their little minds, but that's the corporate structure--unfeeling.
This is the eve of American Thanksgiving Holiday and their authorities are out and about telling housless that are stationed around the Waianae Harbor that the authorities will be evicting at the end of this month.
The notice was verbal, haven't seen the written notice with specific date and time.
I called the mayor's office, they don't know a thing about the operation. Nor, could they refer me to any person(s) that may have specific information as to how this will come down or who is in charge.
The least the 'authorities' could have done was to wait until after the weekend when most families are having a holiday celebration of some sort.
