  • It really is simple when you boil it down and look at it. You either going stand up and fulfill your kuleana or you going be the enemy. Period. There is no middle ground here. The enemy is counting on you to stay at home and watch the rest of us on TV. So by you staying home and not helping, you are the enemy. Following the wishes of the enemy makes you the enemy. You are kanaka maoli and have this kuleana to yourself. Kuleana to your kupuna. Kuleana to your mo'opuna. Do what is pono. There is only one path that is pono, the rest, is hewa.
  • Yes, I concur with your mana'o. Don't be afraid to speak up and share your mana'o. It's not only about marching or holding signs, it making that visual impact that sends a strong statement. The bottle is partially full of MANA. We need to fill and it is complete when it is full. As the U.S, and Lingle nab at the kanaka, the bottle empties. However, we must remain strong in our culture and stay alert of the pressing issues that confronts all po'e.

KULEANA. Donna said very delicately not to over step the kanaka boundaries - I do agree. In the midst of all the waves pounding all all shores lines - IT IS YOUR KULEANA TO KICK OF THE SLIPPERS AND STAND UP FOR YOUR TUTU AND KEIKI. NO VOICES...NO ACTION...NO BODY...

I SAY IT WITH EASE AND ALOHA...IT IS OUR TIME...LET US MAKE HISTORY THIS HOUR, THIS DAY, THIS MONTH....THIS YEAR. THIS IS THE YEAR OF KANAKA MAOLI!!!
