Lela Hubbard (dec.) former Hawaiian Patriot, Activist, a School Teacher documented that Abigail Kawananakoa is "a Fraud":

-  “She has no right to be there,” Lela Hubbard, chairwoman of the advocacy group Na Koa Ikaika, insisted at the time. “She’s been masquerading as a princess and she is not, and people have not called her out on it. That’s the crux of the matter: She’s a fraud, and everybody else has gone along with it.”

Aloha Lela - Peter referred me to you regarding property managers on DHHL lands that appear to be mistreating the residents .... or are abusive or harass them ... we have a situation at the Kupuna housing in Waimanalo and he mentioned you are aware of it at some other location. I've filed a request to appear before the Hawaiian Homes Commission about it, am waiting to hear from them, and hoping we can collaborate re: your experience. Will be trying to reach you - DHHL meets on the 18th in Honolulu I hear ... I'm at 234-4407 ...

The NRA is on the attack again, but this time they're going after the President's daughters. Urge network executives to refuse to air the NRA's reprehensible new ad targeting the First Family.

Look carefully at Act 195, Session Laws of Hawaii, 2011, which redefines Native Hawaiians as"indigenous, aboriginal, maoli people of Hawaii." That status is less than a citizen of a bona fide nation, recognized by the family of nations. Moreover, there are no guarantees for the 50% Hawaiians that their trust will be maintained or that the
25,000 waiting for homesteads will be first in line. The Purpose clause is scary.
25,00 waiting for Homesteads will be served first. The Purpose clause is scary. The roll
is open to Hawaiians anywhere. But those who understand what a nation is realize those who actually create the nation (vote) need to be residents who understand the issues and problems.
OHA is cutting the checks for this Roll, Kana'iowalu, elated that we Hawaiians at 500,00 would be the largest indigenous nation as the Navajos are just 350,000.
What are we building, a nation or a voting block?

  • Lela Hubbard on the topic of the Island of Niihau:

    "

Protect the people of Niihau who depend on their natural resources for survival. Non-residents have been abusing the fishing and gathering rights of these native Hawaiians. There should be a three mile kapu around the island, a kipuka of Hawaiian culture where the people speak fluent Hawaiian and live the old ways.
Call the governor: 808-586-0034; Sen Kim: 587-7200; Sen. Ige: 586-6230; Sen. Hee: 586-7330; Rep. Souki: 586-6100; Rep. Hanohano: 586-6530; Call: U.S. Rep. Colleen Hanabusa: 541-2570
Call or E-Mail your legislators. Ask ten of your friends to help."
Note:  The Island of Niihau belongs to Kamehameha's descendants.  Recently billings for rents and retroactive rents were sent to the Robinson's who are NOT the land owners.
The Konohiki of the Island of Niihau was Koakanu.  His descendants and heirs are Kamehameha's, who have the Allodial titles to the lands ---Not the White Supremacists who maintain a slave like group of kanaka maoli.

    On Recognition:
    "
Abuse of our Freedom of Association via Kana'iolowalu must be stopped. Even Native Hawaiians should not be forced to join Kana'iolowalu nor should our confidential information be divulged to the Native Hawaiian Vote just to boost the paucity of their registrations. The amendments to Act 195 are unconstitutional and must be tossed out
    That gang is really desperate.
Instead of wasting money on tv ads we all should be educated on our options for nationhood: independence, Hawaiian tribe under Native American Law, a different arrangement with the United States (like a Compact of Free Association) or remain as we are. What are the good and bad points of these options? What will our economy be based on, etc.. We should not be bullied into the State sponsored initiative."

    • Note: Lela Hubbard was a caring, active, defender and patriot of the Hawaiian Kingdom.
"Lela Malina Hubbard, age 80, of Waianae, Hawaii passed away on Monday February 12, 2018. Lela was born December 26, 1937 in Honolulu, Hawaii."
Even though she passed in 2018, her words, memories are still valuable to all kanaka maoli/Kanaka Hawaii Maoli today.
I saw her as a strong woman who truly cared for our people.
      What she said matters.
      May she rest in peace...........
      aloha.
