The Legitimate Government in Hawaii Series:  The Government Councils 1841 - Laws Passed by Them

The following is a list showing the lawmakers in the Hawaiian Kingdom/Kingdom of Hawaii/Ko Hawaii Pae Aina.

The importance of this list is that 'no laws can be passed without their assent' in 1841:

(1) Kamehameha III - son of Kamehameha I

(2) Kekauluohi (w) - widow of Kamehameha I, Kamehameha II - mother of William Lunalilo; stepmother of all of Kamehameha's children; stepchildren; and hanai/adopted children.

(3) Hoapiliwahine (w) - widow of Kamehameha I; stepmother of all of Kamehameha's children; stepchildren and hanai/adopted children.

(4) Kuakini - brother of Kamehameha I's wives:  Kaahumanu; Kaheiheimalie/ Hoapiliwahine; and Namahana/Piia; brother-in-law of Kamehameha I.

(5) Kekauonohi (w) - widow of Kamehameha II; stepmother of Kamehameha I's children; stepchildren; and hanai/adopted children; widow of Kealiiahonui; wife of Kanaina/Charles Kanaina; and Haalelea/Levi Haalelea. Grandaughter of Kamehameha I.

(6) Kahekili - Kamehameha I's great great grandson.  Kamehameha I had son Kalanihelemaiiluna who had Kalaniulumoku (brother: Paki/Abner Paki) who had Kalola (w) his mother.  He was also Kamehameha II's great great great grandson.

(7) Paki - Kamehameha I's great great grandson.  Kamehameha I had Kalanihelemaiiluna who had Paki/Abner Paki (and Kalaniulumoku).  He was also the father of Bernice Pauahi; stepfather of Kalola (w) (siblings) who had Kahekili. He was also the nephew of Kamehameha II.  

(8) Konia - Kamehameha I's grandaughter from Kaoleioku.  She married Paki/ Abner Paki and had Bernice Pauahi.  She was the stepmother of Kalola (w) and others.

(9) Keohokalole - Hanai/adopted daughter of Kamehameha I's great great great grandaughter Nahuina (w).  She was the daughter of Kapule and Kini (w) whose father was Hanuna the son of Kaoleioku son of Kamehameha I.  Hanuna was the brother of Keola, Pauahi(w), and Konia(w).  Pauahi (w) was the widow of Kamehameha II.  Pauahi (w) and Kekuanaoa had Ruth Keelikolani.  Konia (w) was the mother of Bernice Pauahi.

Note:  Although Aliens claim that the Kalakaua Dynasty was apart from the Kamehameha Dynasty, that was a false claim since the hanai/adoption document was found.

 

(10) Leleiohoku - Son of Kalanimoku hanai of Kamehameha I; Grandson of Kamehameha I; Hanai brother of the widow of Kamehameha II named Kekauonohi (w); Married Kamehameha I's great grandaughter named Ruth Keelikolani.  

(11)  Kekuanaoa - Grandson of Kamehameha I's sister Kiilaweau (w); Married the widow of Kamehameha II named Pauahi (w); Stepfather of all of Kamehameha II's stepchildren, hanai/adopted children.  Father of Paalua, Ruth Keelikolani, David Kamehameha, Moses Kekuaiwa, Lot Kamehameha/Kamehameha V, Alexander Liholiho/Kamehameha IV, Victoria Kamamalu, hanai/adopted Bernice Pauahi, stepchildren: John Kapena, Sam Kapena, and Umiokalani (w).

(12) Kealiiahonui - Kamehameha I's and Kamehameha II's stepson.  Married the widow of Kamehameha II named Kekauonohi (w).  Stepfather of all of Kamehameha II's stepchildren, hanai/adopted children.

(13) Kanaina - Married Kamehameha I's widow Kekauluohi.  Married Kamehameha II's widow Kekauonohi/Miriam Kekauonohi.  Father of William Charles Lunalilo; stepfather of all of Kamehameha I's and Kamehameha II's children, stepchildren, and hanai/adopted children.

(14) Keoni Ii - Kahu/Caretaker of Kamehameha's grandaughter Victoria Kamamalu and 

(15) Keoni Ana - Son of Olohana/John Young and Kaonaeha, the daughter of Kamehameha I's brother Kealiimaikai.

(16) Haalilio - Son of Haalou and Sarai Hiwauli.  Stepson of Keoni Ii who married Sarai Hiwauli.
