Solutions to the PROBLEM!

Here are some positive ideas that I think could be done to rid us of America's occupation: 1) Dissolve the fraudulent "State of Hawaii, Inc.," it's counterparts, and all parties therein. 2) Remove the illegal U.S. Miitary Occupation and their belligerent presence throughout our neutral country, and demand peaceful relationships with our international community on the basis of our treaties of international friendship and commerce(46 Treatied Nations Worldwide.) 3) End the state sponsored "Office of Hawaiian Affairs" illegal trust, which has been allowed to racially discriminate against and disseminate our own people. 4) Find homes, treatment, and rehabilitation for the homeless, drug abusers, and illegally imprisoned kanaka that have been inflicted largely because of deeply entrenched indoctrinization of cultural, racial, and political U.S. sponsored oppression. 5) Stop the billions of dollars worth of weapons of mass destruction being illegally transported and harbored on neutral shores within our nation. Weapons for the purposes of U.S. imperial motives of military strategic advancement for the defense of U.S. Military interest. Enforcing agreements within the treaty between Ko Hawaii Pae 'Aina and the United States circa 1826, 1849, and 1875. 6) Stop paying taxes to fraudulent state and de facto federal government's, who utilize those funds for continued military exploitation and U.S. international conflicts and wars worldwide. 7)Utilize and invest in researching and developing energy efficient vehicles running off of alternative fuels created by those who live within our nation, weakening the American dollar in the international market and providing back to our international community. 8)Continue the success of the charter school movement independently of state and federal funding to continue project based curriculum that focuses upon academic excellence, malama 'aina/self-sustainability, and aloha 'aina(love for one's nation/land/culture). Building schools with a basis of kanaka maoli culture that stimulates and proves strong cultural interest and relevance to students living within our neutral nation of Hawaii. 9)Provide a neutral country for foreign national citizens under various Treaty to insure healthy international relations and a continuation of friendship and commerce with such nations, who have signed under treaty with our dignitary leaders of our nation. 10) Live freely, healthily, and happily within my own nation, with the people, and the land and what it has to offer. Anyone care to add? We already know the problem, SOLUTIONS ONLY please...

  • Aloha e na kanaka maoli this is a daily task for myself, finding solutions to this problem we all face everyday since January 17,1893. 7 years ago I was void of who I was till I met The Reinstated Hawaiian Government the only process that holds elections as our Kupuna did. I had no clue as to how governments worked or international law is applied in independant countries. Now I do and enjoy being a hawaiian national. 1) The de facto govrnment "State of Hawaii" i agree needs to be removed from its claims here in Hawaii, and will need to be replaced by the lawful De jure Government Kingdom of Hawaii.2)This government has already passed a Law making Hawaii a nuclear free zone which shall be applied during the transition of power.3)all claims that county, state, and federal government and agencys have here shall be dissolved and turned back over to the lawful govrnment and its citizens. 4,5) The billions of dollars generated here shall stay here and not be sent to any foreign government and shall be used to the benefit of this government and citizens, and maintain its infrastructure (hospitals, schools, universities, economy) 6)all hawaiian nationals dont have to pay taxes to any foreign government.7)Na Kanaka maoli should have the options under this government in the application of alternative fuels.8)The Hawaiian language , its culture, and traditions shall be mandated in all schools here in Hawaii.9)Naturalization exist under this Government of our Kupuna and honors its treaties that come with the reinstatement of our former government. 10)True independance can be acheived thruogh the application of Kingdom Law,and International Law.and most of all Ho'oku'ikahi in our kupunas foot steps THE REINSTATED LAWFUL HAWAIIAN GOVERNMENT..
  • I couldn't help but laugh when I saw Kalani no laugh miss ululani! lol

But seriously, I think it was Saturday when I thought about it...AGAIN! I guess whenever the issue of "blood quantum" comes up, I think about things like these eventually, where I think how come it's ok for others, i.e. Latinos (Mexicans, Cubans, etc.), Armenians, Popolos, Chinese can procreate among one another but for us, people make a big deal about us procreating among ourselves?

I mean, people criticize if you have too many kids, b/c of the lifestyle we live nowadays where more of "wants" are considered a priority over "needs". And b/c of that, people are criticized b/c they supposedly can't afford to raise that many children, or that it is the root of causing dissolution among families. Is it really? Not suppose to be w/in our culture. I think, my own opinion now, people capitalize too much on western society's mores. We forget about the old ways. Maybe i'm biased b/c even though I've seen in my own community (growing up) people seem to have what may appear to be "broken families", we always had the love & comfort of other relatives or neighbors or even close friends help out. A "true" Hawaiian society where the community played an important role as a whole.

Or...maybe I'm just saying stuff, but that's just what I feel. I mean, it is enough to make me think about it recently...so, i'm all for it! Procreate! I know there's an olelo noeau...just too lazy to look it up. lol
    • Hi Kalani.

Nowadays we also have the "population zero" people advocating that we do not have ANY children. WTH??? LOL If I could man... I would not want to deal with the western world AT ALL. It is sooo messed up in so many ways. I prefer the old ways when it was all about the FAMILY and helping each other out. It was SIMPLE. Yes women were secluded at times and forbidden to do certain things... but then I would rather have THAT than be surrounded by stupidity and rudeness LOL

The blood quantum thing doesn't bother me at all. If people wanna act stupid then they can knock themselves out! LOL Like Yolanda mentioned a few times... some people will try to instill fear in us and/or try to intimidate and/or harass us... for whatever reason. To me that can be circumvented if there are more of us. We can also overcome the stupidity of some people which Hale addresses with his solutions to others' stupidity... by surviving. I keep thinking about that and have been for a long long time. Then again isn't it already in Ola na iwi??? LOL

Like you stated though... "but for us, people make a big deal about us procreating among ourselves?" I think they try to get us to stop talking to each other. They seem to thrive on that because if we don't talk to each other... chances are that as a result of lack of communication between and among other oiwi we will be disgusted with all oiwi which may result in us not caring about the iwi and we won't procreate... so in many ways I like Maoli World. For the single oiwi at least they can meet each other.

      Aloha, L
      • Well hey I'm 25...not getting any younger...and am down to ho'oulu la hui hawai'i as many keiki as need be. I can raise kalo, I'm handy around the house, I do my own laundry, and I cook. I may have a few other bad habits that are undesirable, but I'm pretty to look at. ;-) Atleast for now anyway. So anybody know any fine single kanaka wahine that can tame a head strong alpha kanaka kane in da worst way. Applications, resume, references, and mo'okuauhau a must.

If so, send her or them my way. lol. I like 15 kids if can. No gotta be only one wahine...hell we can all be willing to compromise on the number for the sake of the nation. I just wrote 15 cuz i like dat number. Can be one for every 15 single wahine. Or divided evenly 3 between 5. or 5 between 3. Not sure If I can handle all dat hina energy, but can try...

I'll even write a mele ma'i in your honor and dance it for dat speeeeeeecial lady(ies)... au'rai! k time fo go sleep. I going dream one dream about na wahine. Cheeehuuuuuu...

        Hale Mawae
        Eo Lono!
        • E Hale...

Yeah you are pretty good to look at....but 15 keiki with perhaps 15 wahine?!?!?!!! LOL That is making me laugh.

I seriously hope though... that oiwi multiply.

          Aloha, Lana
        • lol! I'm speachless for a change...lmao! :)
          • lol...eh I gotta put myself out dea...haha
    • Ya, three children is all I can afford and I cannot even afford them but we do what we can to survive. I cannot see me having ten kids...sucks that we are related to most Hawaiians...so although the act of procreation is a lot of fun...lol! :) as far as having 16 kids like my great grandmother, that is impossible and expensive. Not like we have midwives and all those practices in place or even sustainability. I cannot wait to be over with buying diapers. With the medical community crashing in Hawai`i...I don't think it is an option to have ten kids but it's an entertaining thought.

and it is frowned apon for people to have so much kids because most people with alot of kids are on welfare so unless they can support themselves and their offspring...they should think about growing their own food before they have all those kids....
  • Establish that Kanaka maoli lands cannot be sold once it is obtained. No foreigner may own land (aside from Kingdom Nationals who swear their allegiance to the Hawaiian Nation) "and" agree to work the land they/we have stewardship of and promote food and medicinal knowledge once again into our people.

Instill the knowledge in the youth, through kukulu kumuhana or charter schools and teach people about the reality of independance in the outer world.

Promote diversity in agriculture in the farmlands to create island and nation sustainability before independance is achieved.

Stop all proposals for water diversions from valleys.

Place a moratorium on population according to resources available.

Establish Kanaka maoli only beaches like my friend on Maoliworld "Bear" said they have for the Indians in WA. I know we are not indian...that is why I said kanaka maoli. but I like the idea of Kanaka maoli only beaches in Hawai`i.

Reteach our people who forgot the spirit of aloha and that when they go to these beaches it is a spiritual experience so they should leave it in better condition then when they arrived. :)

Promote the barter system and trade.

Support each other as Hawaiians....Allot every Hawaiian land to live on, and steward...if they live on it, and work it, they can care for it it should be theirs to steward.

Instill environmental protection laws....(real ones not of the EPA)

Instill Native gathering right laws for cultural practitioners and clarify our rights as kanaka maoli if this aina.

Use and educate on the Scientific practices of the kapu system ( fish spawning, conservation resource gathering seasons etc...)

Promote the health of our Aina, through environmental education.

I was only going to post a couple of things and I guess I got on a roll...e kala mai...:)
  • Aloha Lono,

We, as a great nation can accomplish all of those things you've listed.

    BUT, Here is the key,

We need to bring all the different factions together first. We will be unstoppable as ONE People.
