we have been having lots of public meetings...where the mayor....wants to get involved with our public of maui nui.....however, not much attendance from much of the citizens and or residents are in attendance....and seems like this have been in the past.
i found out...not toooo much is being prepared for us at these meetings...for example....at our Police Chief Lahaina meeting...we had more police officers in attendance than the public????....more workshops and or meetings to educated the public to be prepared for a public meeting is needed to get more of our public involved and start speaking up at these public meetings.
worst yet...we just had our Chamber Committee meeting in lahaina (a ten year policy of our county)......and only 7 residence attended....there were more in the chamber committee of volunteers......what?????...for this meeting happens every ten years????
we should have had more residence and citizen involvement with the proper education of knowing what this Chamber Committee is all about and they should have made it more available to assist our public with the knowledge of our Community and how this policies will affect us in the future (ten more years)...before we get an other say concerning the Bylaws of our Maui County Communities...
county of maui need to better educate our next future generation about the policies of this county of maui....however more have jumped on the ban wagon and began getting involved...noticing how this county of maui is keeping everyone in the loop ot no where to go.....soon changes and cleansing is coming

We've had a rash of illegal drug selling on Maoliworld and since than Ikaika has removed them. However, below the political is the culture...the drug pusher had dominated that area and I posted over. Can you go back there and repost or post new ones.
As for your meetings, as you know my niece past on May 14, 2011 and it was not good. I believe the officer involved was more concern about her funding for her MADD program than trying to get evidence at the scene. It is of my belief she was murdered. And they have been many others before her. So not sure when is your meeting or even where because you have not posted that information.
