Subject:  HR 258/HCR 293 Expressing Legislative Support For And
Requesting The Removal Of The Term “Treaty Of Annexation“
Cast In Bronze On The Statue Of President McKinley On The
Grounds Of McKinley High School, “OPPOSE”

ALOHA Kakou,
My name is Richard Pomaikaiokalani Kinney.  I am here today to testify as a Hawaiian National.  I “OPPOSE” the passage of
HR 258/HCR 293.
On January 16, 1893 thru an “Act of War” the military forces of the United States invaded and occupied the Kingdom of Hawaii.  That “Act of War” continues today on me and many of my fellow Hawaiian Nationals!
That “Act of War” lead to the early death of Princess Kaiulani.
President McKinley betrayed the Trust of Queen Liliuokalani and those Hawaiian Nationals who signed the “Anti-Annexation Petitions of 1897-1898.”
Having a High School name after President McKinley in today’s Hawaii is HEWA!  I consider President McKinley to that of Hitler!  Wanting to Terminate the lives of Queen Liliuokalani and her Ohana’s claims to the
Throne of Hawaii.
For over 118 years Hawaiian Nationals have been living thru their “Day of Infamy” of January 16, 1893.  The “Holocaust Story” of the Hawaiian Nationals have not been told!
HR 258/HCR 293 does not Right the Wrongs that effect me and my fellow Hawaiian Nationals today.  These Resolutions are Distractions and Perpetuates the Wrongs of the “Holocaust Story” of Hawaiian Nationals.

  • ALOHA Kakou, e Hawaii,

The McKinley Statue should be taken down and the school renamed.

Long Live The Hawaiian Kingdom, o Pomai
