PURPOSE: to protest Governor Abercrombie’s signing of SB 1520, the fake-state’s new attempt to revive and jump-start the now defunct Akaka Bill.
The Committee of Hawaiian Nationals calls on all who are committed to defending our nation, to come tomorrow and KU’E against the onslaught of the most recent, sneakiest version of the Akaka bill. Attached is the press release sent to the media.
After fighting and defeating the Akaka bill over the past 10 years in far away Washington DC, we now have the opportunity to confront it in our home court! We are now in the position of taking the driver’s seat. Let’s not fall asleep at the wheel! A strong showing protesting the governor’s signing ceremony tomorrow (along with OHA, DHHL, and all the usual Hawaiian-Americans) will signal that we patriots are prepared to stop and defeat this sneaky state-initiated end-run.
