PONO ALERT: Hawaiian National Pilipo Speaks

Aloha kakou, e ohana Hawauuan Nationals,

Today, some of us spent a positive afternoon with the "Coalition Save Oahu Farmlands", against the hewa Rail.

Mahalo piha. Not exactly what I thought it would be but still positive. We networked with a lot of good concerned people, not necessarily Hawaiian Nationals but those who share concerns of the aina and what is best for Hawaii nei. This tied right in with "Zaki"'s organizing on campuses. I will get the Waihole /Waikane Farmers involved too..

What's interesting was Ben Cayetano (Governor) concerns of Hawaiian Iwi Burials?. Cayetno was questioned  by the media about him supporting Mayor Carlisle, knowing that Carlisle was strong supportor of the Rail. Cayetano made some slight excuse. Whenever politicians stand by each other at higher level of elected office, they know everything about each other and sing the same song. So for me, Cayetano was not up and up about Carlisle. We must be careful for politicians will do anything to "circle the wagons" to protect each other against us Native or Indian types. I have learned to not listen to politicians for at best it is all rhetoric. Especially, politicians who are Attorneys. I listen for key words or phrases that are "Red Flags" for me. At the later part of "Cayetano's Press Release", Cayetano said, "that the only course of remedy to stop the Rail was through the Courts", and to me that was my "Red Flag", a dead-giveaway, Cayetano is not on the side of pono.

Cayetano knows the "remedy" via the Courts take money and more money, and we're broke. Additionally, to file a valid compliant there must be "an injured party". The Courts will rule that the Iwi do not not qualify as a "injured party". Courts deal with Commerce. Some call it Admiralty. Commerce or Admiralty is Contract, not Justice or Rights. We'd be fools to go to Court. If you want to disperse dedicated people of purpose create a liability or FART. I tried to FART today so we could get closer to Cayetano with the FREEHAWAII signs and flags but at my age I find more difficult to muster a FART voluntarily, and Pomai completely refused.

Once the Courts rule and all appeals have been exhausted, we have no further recourse, except pay all the bills we have accumulated going into Court while they construct the Rail and laugh at us over cigars. Our Court of Justice is to Ku'e, Ku'e, Ku'e, Ku'e before the Public, in the face of governments entities and their allies. The Ancient Iwi of our Ancestors will speak louder and deeper than any of us mortals can..

I believe participating in this Coalition is positive, for they will learn more what is pono from us than we of them. I have know Dudley and wife for many years and they are pono people. Sadly, Kioni has never been elected to Public
Office. Mahalo to all for being there. Ka'anohi's dedication stirred up a lot of interest. Special mahalo to Zaki and Brandi for playing hokey too, and I think this will reinforce your efforts on campuses of the higher education. Please keep us informed of your conferences and how we can kokua. Of course, to Pomai and Leon, and to Pi'ilani and Dora, who are always looking for pono people. E kal mai, if I have caused any discomfort to anyone of my mana'o on Cayetano but I have learned the hard way and I will never forget my lesson.

malama ke kino,
pilipo
