Mahalo for a good day. We had some mixups or misdirection but with patience all work out to the better. I look forward to a better day tomorrow at the MLK Parade. We had a good chance to kuka with Officers of HPD that were assigned to I'olani Patace and DLNR.  Why we could not have use the rest room, I don't know. I offered the $25.00 for the use of the lua. There have been problems with "unsupervised adults and children using the public restrooms within Kana'ina Building for some wander into the other rooms which are not secured from the public restrooms. DLNR mentioned unless there is a Monitor within Kanaina Bldg. the restroom would not be available to the public functions on the grounds. Which could means renting porta-potty or a Restroom Monitor.

Bill Aila and wife had an ear full today. They intensely listen to speakers and just to the ohana present. It was a good beginning for Aila who I believe the most difficult job for anyone Kanaka Maqo;li or otherwise in the system for that system is based upon greed by a select few who never get full.. Aila is not yet affirmed by the Legislature. We can only pray Aila makes pono decisions.

Again, I am sorry and hope you young people don't get discourage with the confusion of us old farts but I would be lying to all if I said it is uncommon. I am not making an excuse for me or anyone else, but the current permit structure promotes discouragement and confusion so that we take the easy way and stay home. But we going fool um!

    • Mahalo Pomaika'iokalani for all you do.   Yes, the gathering for the 17th is a grrand time for Hawaiian Kihngdom Patriots to come togetherr and stand to be counted.   I missed Sunday's gatthering but was there in spirit.  Hopefully I will feel better for today.

As far as the restroom area at Kanaina Bldg, the door is normally locked to access the other rooms.  I think someone is making things up.  Entrance to the lua is easily accessible from the side entrance w2ithout having to go through the rest of the building which is already secured; so that's only an excuse they are using.

Hopefully, I'll see you at Kapiolani Park.

      A  Hawaiian Kingdom Patriot,

      Tane
