INVENTORY SURVEY PLAN FOR CITY CENTER

In accordance with the recently executed National Historic Preservation Act Programmatic Agreement for the Honolulu High-Capacity Transit Corridor Project, the City will meet with the community to discuss the Archaeological Inventory Survey Plan (AISP) for the City Center portion of the Project (Construction Phase 4). The City Center portion is from Middle Street to Ala Moana Center in downtown Honolulu.
The meeting will focus on:
- Explaining the purpose of the AISP and how it applies to the Project
- Describing the process, approach and sampling strategy for the AISP
- Outlining the methods to be used for this investigation
- Describing how the information obtained in the AIS will inform the Project design
The meeting is open to the public and the City welcomes your input and participation.
