i had the oppertunity to serve 3 kupuna's
kupuna man-----he came from the other side of Maui Nui----Waiehu Kou Hawaiian Home Lands
he was in the Marines with my daddy......he remember the days....small kine tears
he said he almost 80 years old and it will be time....he no can drive no moa
he scared, he fear for his future, he said he enjoy what he have left
he looked down and said "not much is left"......he looked back up....shook his head
kupuna na wahine-----both of them is good listeners.......straight up and very Truthful.....
i admire the way they both presented themselves...in honor and in truth....
very rare to see true grassroots Kupuna's living and breathing the HA~~~
