Another teen arrested in Highlands Intermediate shooting

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Another arrest has been made in connection to the shooting that took place at Highlands Intermediate last month.
Police says a 14-year-old Pearl City High School student was brought to the main police station for booking Wednesday morning. Police believe he stole the gun used in the shooting from his father.
Investigators think the 14-year-old Pearl City student sold the semi-automatic glock to a 16-year-old who then sold it to another 14-year-old who fired the gun at Highlands Intermediate. Those two students are also facing charges.
Two children were injured in the shooting on May 23.  Police say, the 14-year-old from Highlands Intermediate accidentally fired the gun while showing it to some friends.

  • We all have problems with communication between child and parent.  The child did not come in a gift box with instructions on how to communicate when energy dies.  Today parents need more than just words out of their 'island mouth' they need to know about the three dimensional graphics and videos that their child is exposed to.  Is this bad? Of course not!  What is bad that we stopped talking to our children because of these new way of life.  High technology should be respected and muted sometimes--at least until the entire family members catch up with the meaning and understanding of the graphics and text and how it connects with the normal world.

Father(s) should got to jail for being careless in their homes, with their children.  Principals should be fired for not listening to the voices of the children, janitors, and security people. And chaplains in the area need to step up or sit down and listen to their young church members to what they know and think about what is going on in their play areas and private meeting places.

Murder is actually happening right before our eyes, some are instant, some are play, and others are in disguisement of bad girl and boy!  There is underline cults, cyndicate, and organzing crime to be aware of as we enter more economic woes.

What can we do?  Teach child how to read to the point that they can develop their own moral grounds in their decision making.  Yup, we all need to go there for our own sake!

Are we really raising our children to live in Hawaii? Need to understand what is happening here and how it fits into the future schema of things.

Need to sit and communicate with each other and have a bit of respect for each others opinion.  Some can and some cannot--that's the reality of things.  These are not 'ideologies' of false causes!
