When Brig. Gen. Thomas Farrell, deputy to Maj.Gen. Leslie Groves signed a receipt for plutonium--he penned a death warrant for all Pacific Islanders. Had he not been a smart 'alecky' and lacked focus such as with Commander Scott Waddle and the Ehime Maru incident--just maybe things would be different today. My mother aborted her fully formed and beautiful daughter in 1950 because it was said to be ill from "eating too much blood fish" which was contaminated with isotopes. My mother mentally died over the many years she lived. She had a child soon after his name was Marshall. Named after the Marshall Islands, according to grandpa Auld, so that, " we would remember the atrocities of the Manhattan Project in New Mexico and the devastating affects on native Hawaiian women.
My step-dad's family Mendiola and Abigail Prejean (Hale o na Alii o Hawaii member) and many others fought for the establish the settlement of Papakolea. Riddled with social incitements by outsiders spanned over the years, I met Gail Prejean in 1978. We both spent years in discussions at various protest, community meetings, and our last meeting place was at the Halawa Heiau where archeologist were digging out graves. These were pili stones graves. When Kawaipuna (Gail) and I walked around the area it was horrifying. Graves were dug up and deep holes were left opened by archeologist. Sadden I walked away from the opened graves and gravitated to the birthing stone. We have a similar birthing stone at my dads place as a child I use to lay on the pohaku. Liliu also used this same birthing stone to lay on (to lighten the load --my thoughts) at my dad's house. I walked to the birthing stone with intent on laying on it (a natural tendency of mine). Irritated, Gail too was upset. He stood next to me and I explained to him what I was about to do, and he said, 'lets go." We drove up the valley where the tunnel was just a hole in the side of the mountain. I took a picture of Gail his last picture! Gail past two days later.
That day before we went up to Halawa to join the women in protest, I split my sandwich with Gail. I sat there listening to him talk to Hinano about American Indian Movement, and how should anything happen to him--all of Hawaii's files should be destroyed. Again, he died soon after.
There is a built up of US military presence in Hawaiian communities done by people that favor the mentality of Brig. Gen. Thomas Farrell, deputy to Maj.Gen. Leslie Groves and their handling of plutonium a deadly uranium isotope. We are building 'Hooper' type homes with federal dollars on Hawaiian Homestead for military families to live in and raise their children in Hawaiian cultural value setting here in Waianae.
Between October 2009 and May 2010 Waianae truckers trucked into their backyards, and their community 900 tons of construction debris with Nuclear Isotopes from Schofield Barracks! Similar actions when truckers mobilized to build runways during World War II and too for Atomic bomb Bravo testing in the Pacific Region.
What made our opposition so successful are because of the Native Hawaiian Veterans, LLC, Native Hawaiian Covenant, children of the Hale o na Alii o Hawaii. The worst organization that preys on children is 'Hookipa' with service to a future of death, wars and suicide in the Hawaiian Islands. As a collective body of Hawaiian activist, we have not arrived to the level of pro-action since the Manhattan Project.
Cancer is inevitable and Hawaiian Homestead 'Reorganization' will be ridden with sick people and destroyed DNA strings for our future generation. This is discerning when we came from a 'robust' culture only to change to the sickest race on earth. A race to the top of the charts!
Like I say its a 'Race' to the top across 5,000 miles therefore full speed ahead in plutonium mishandling.
