I have a Bachelors Degree in Geography..remote sensing, cart. and GIS. I have the understanding of how information is gathered. Two days ago, I passed Google earth taking pictures of our community and I kicked them out. But, not until I gave them a piece of my mind...we had a great conversation. I gave them my spill of a sense of place, in otherwords, I pointed out places that they can go back and do research which is a protocol for all students before they enter field research.
Once in the field and especially in a highly visible area of things that are ancient or Section 106. They have specific parameters that if they are not following protocol they are libel for the damages. Google Earth is illegal in India, not sure I think the Soviet Union, and China. I lost tract of the Star Wars Policies.
Now that the Shuttle has ended, Star Wars too!
