Kaohi: This song reminds me of my father "Kanaka oo 'Niaupio" He was born beside the Aloha Oe bridge 1845 Maunawili Road. And too he died next to the river on July 2, 2011

    I was surprised that I was able to embed this song and the words.

     

    My dad talked about dying and how he said he was a bit afraid to go...I interupted and I said, "daddy--I will be alright daddy, don't worry about me--daddy, I will be alright"  Our eyes met and I kissed his cheeks. 

     

    This song is saying a change is gonna come!  Beautiful words....!

      the passing of a loved one is pretty difficult..........

       

      this is a song that my Dad loved, and sang it to my Mom..........I had the pleasure of having lunch under a yellow flowering tree which rained on the car near home by the Mililani Golf Course............with memories of this song, a nice lunch under the flowers are wonderful memories......

       

      my Dad was a healer and asked by gramma/his mom to help others, which he did.

       

      This song too has beautiful words..........much love expressed.....

       

      Through difficult times, prayers help lots too.
