"Lif e is for a Very Long Time" is a book that I gave to Tane.  And in that book one will read all about the 1/2 side of the Chinese here in Hawaii.  And the other side would be the understanding of Sun Yat Sen.

It goes deeper than the trade zone, military and the friendly procuremnts of China.  Hawaiian Nationals are made up of both sides of the spectrum when it comes to the issue of China. Here is a simple explanation "While at ʻIolani, he befriended Tong Phong, who later founded the First Chinese-American Bank."  Just within this sentence one will basically describe the Free Hawaii and the Hawaiian Nationals.  Both these groups have a lot to do with what one is talking about, China and Trade in the Honolulu District.

I've walk the talk in the original 'Made in Hawaii' association where a lot of this 'trading' one is talking about.  For me this time period is just a 'sense of place' which is the reason why, I trade marked  Native Hawaiian.  It was to establish a distinction between both worlds.  Many businesses are still trying to remove me from that Trade Mark.

Given the thought process on the early Chinese here in Hawaii and their combative nature, I move forward to your concerns which are valid concerns.  During the Harris years at the City and County it was China that did the large procurement laying those large pipes.  So you are correct.  Are you gearing up to the Asian Bank Conference of 2011?

I pass on this problem!  But, will support all of your endeavors on the frontline of any opposition to Bankers bank rolling the people of Hawaii for more land aquisition for speculative forces that's been going on since the inception of US private land ownership--not sure if it was Jackson or Jefferson and too the Civil Rights section II on private land ownership.  Good Luck on the year of the Rabbit.

Besides, I don't want to go to Yemen and get caught up in the squabbles with China, Russia, and the Arab countries.  It's too messy!  My family was in the past involve with construction on the global sense and it's over for our family.  We are home bodies and should stay there.  But--I believe it's and important subject for all to understand and tie into.  Construction, Asian Bankers, and their workers makes an important understanding of how that world goes to wars, actually it parallels our history.  Much aloha Pilipo
