My legal father John Mendiola's Micronesian family did not leave the islands.  They were here for the purpose of helping us with our farming and married into the Hawaiian culture over time.  Today, they are more Hawaiian in percent and have the quantum to live on Hawaiian Homestead. 

In respect to my sister and her father, I took on the role as working (no pay) for Micronesians in the year 2003, and have been doing it ever since.  I was fortunate to meet Mau and have a heart to heart exchange on navigational education.  My father's ashes was spread at the invisible highway that Mau enjoyed recalculating.  I would not have seen this had it not been for my reaching back in time and connecting our history (family history) and critically asking questions to a person that I so intensly respect.  Nor would, I have been able to stand the tide of a continuum of wave after wave from the people on Maoliworld forum, during the death and dying process of my dad had I not had that 'talk' with Mau.  I don't think my dead reckoning would have been that strong to confront the 200 years of missionary (snake) slithering around 1845 Maunawili Road a devastating experience, but like my father said, "let them crawl' and so I did. 

At this time, 114 million of Hawaii's tax's are paying for medical and education for Micronesians and this is pissing off a lot of people.  Having said that, I disagree with Neil Abercrombie for trying to cash in on the 2066 recent agreement  with the Marshallee's recent missile range at Kawajelien Atoll.  A lack of understanding and lumping the problem under the US umbrella of Micronesian is hardly a reasonable approach.  Stealing from Paul to pay Peter, thus causing a huge animosity among Microneans.  We will have too much wars between Pacific Islanders within and without.  We are struggling as is to keep the peace with simple things as bathroom use, education, and medical-food expenses--but to add violent wars to increase their tentions?  On this note, I strongly disagree with Neil and his 'I never know this would happen' I'm not buying it!
