All participants must:
1. Submit completed safety forms at the safety the orientation. (Orientation is mandatory)
3. Submit access fee ($140) at the safety the orientation.
4. Attend a mandatory safety and logistics orientation. (Time and location TBA).
5. Know how to swim....in the ocean
6. Be physically, mentally, and spiritual prepared to go to Kaho'olawe
6. Have been to Kaho'olawe before with the Protect Kaho'olawe 'Ohana

You have to complete 1-6 before you can go to Kaho'olawe for Makahiki.
We go to Kaho'olawe to WORK and MALAMA the sacred island. It is a place to reconnect to our Hawaiian culture, practice our Hawaiian religion, to learn more about why Kaho'olawe is so special, and to live Hawaiian.
Were we go there will be no air conditioning but we will have an EA Condition.

Arrive at Kahului International Airport before 8:00pm. Meet at Baggage Claim. Ground transportation to Kihei Boat Ramp.
Sunday, November 13, 2011:
Depart by boat from Kaho‘olawe in the morning, departures from Kahului Airport should be 2 PM or later
