I have known Kaohi (Luwella Leonardi) for over thirty years. Only within the last Year and Half have I come to know the inner feelings of Kaohi.
In all the years that I've known Kaohi she has never talk or let her inner feelings be known to me. Her inner feelings as a native Hawaiian. Never have I ever seen Kaohi stand up for her rights as a native Hawaiian. Never at the State Capitol, at the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, or at the Department of Hawaiian Homes.
Only within the last Year and Half has Kaohi come out and let her inner feelings be known. Known to not only to me on Maoliworld, but to everyone here.
I believe in the Freedom of Speech. What I don't believe in the Freedom of Speech, is Lies.
In many of the statements of Kaohi are filled with Lies.
Lies on many people that she has mention on Maoliworld that have passed on. Using these people to bring some kind of Credit to Kaohi. Credit that Kaohi is a True Activist for the Kanaka Maoli people.
Lies that many people here on Maoliworld have no way of knowing what Kaohi is saying is Truthful.
It is now very clear to me that Kaohi is a Plant to Divide and Destroy the Hawaiian Independent
movement.
I have spend much of my life in the Political area where I feel that Justice for Hawaiians will come. Much of my life being spent at the State Legislature, the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, the Honolulu City Council, at Congresssional Hearings and been arrested many times for the protection of the rights of the Kanaka Maoli people.
Kaohi has talk with such Hate of my involvement for the protection of the rights of the Kanaka Maoli people. Hate for my service in the U.S. Navy. Hate for my education in San Francisco.
Even Hate for me that I am not being of the Blood Quantum of a native Hawaiian.
Never in my life of 71 years have I received so much Hate directed at me for who I am and for what I have done to correct the wrongs done to my fellow Kanaka Maoli people.
Forgive me for posting this here. But I feel that I must do this to defend myself from the Hate of Kaohi.
