Regardless of the relationship one has with his son (natural) fathers are seen as supernatural sometimes. And that neglect transform into a supernatural being and in the body of a 14-16 year old that can be very incomprehensible.
A missing gun since December of 2010 brings to mind why fathers should begin to communicate with their sons about 'Safety, Respect, and Responsibility' on this day. Depending on luck, or dare seems more of what our local boy style father-son relationship is about! Hawaii has changed and will get even worse as far as violence in our lives. Taking assesment of what is being said on cypber space from Hawaii citizens--our children do not have a prayer in hell! Making excuses for the fathers of these children--silencing the fathers voices of the victums with mountains of excuses from news media, social media, schools, police matter of fact depart. Highland parents (assuming) I-no-care attitudes seems odd.

Why did the father not lock his Glock gun in a pad lock case and in a secondary storage device like a vault or a safe? Because he is stupid! Why did he not report the gun missing since December? Because he is stupid!

It is truly sad that father's communication is supressed by Na Kanaka fools that already have issues with their own loss fathers.
