Bloodquantum

My family and friends never really understood the actions of our own 'kine' upon its people.  Over the years and it's been 35 years plus.  Native Women have been victimized and devastated by outsiders and their needs.  The outsiders are those that are not qualified for DHHL. In the beginning to associate with native Hawaiians on Hawaiian Homestead Land --it was a shame.  People would not visit or even talk to those of us growing up on Homestead our parents lost their will and reasoning in that period of time and space.

I accepted the differences we had with each other and always looked for a way out of these circumstances that was politically motivated to suit people that lived outside of HHL.  But, today that is different, now everyone wants on the land.  Two things that bothers me in this instance and that is is the quality of life on HHL and the intent to ruin our DNA.  We simply cannot take care of the sick and troubled US military in any form on HHL.  That is the bottom line for we are still in the mold of the dying race.  This brings to the forefront of the inbreeding of our people and the future.  We are but a 'bloodquantum' community, sadly, people from the US continent have a better understanding of this than our own greedy people.  I can handle the greed, but not the psycho paths that lurk around our boundaries like zombies ready to pounce on a young native Hawaiian woman. 

The blood quantum is an issue because like vampires they are blood thirsty!  A bit simple minded but no can help.  Our young people only see the modern culture rather than their own.  Our young people need protecting from these psycho paths!  The second thing that bothers me besides the spoiling of our DNA is the fact that the HHL is a need based community.

All agencies that work within our Na Kanaka community understand need base and can devastate our community with their data and quantifiable measurements that are useless and bogus.   Sometimes, it gets disturbing when environmental people join in the measurements and deepen their pockets with actors in the poverty areas of our houseless communities. What is most disturbing is to read the daily news and see native Hawaiian women depicted as houseless with children that can be used for 'emotional' public gains.  Gains that are falsely held that tells a story that is unlike with what is truly happening in these communities.  Stories that are written for grant appropriations.  

In trying to adjust to the needs of our people and incorporate those on the outskirts of the 200,000 acres that are sitting on the wait list--one can get distracted.  We must be cognizant that there is a list of qualified Native Hawaiians that should be considered a victim of crime.  So what the heck am I talking about? Stealing 200,000 acres and sickening our new births with spoiled DNA.

The people that created OHA they knew they were criminally adjusting the definition to continue the theft of Hawaiian Land.  As to why suddenly the 200,000 acres were being attacked rang bells of warning throughout our HHL communities.  Women came out and rallied against the voice of the preexisting OHA.  But, they were no match to the Jon Van Dykes, law people, bankers, and trust ventures.  Their list of corporate companies are endless, their extended arms are also deadly and poison to our communities.  The women that came out had no chance in defending themselves and their children.  That is the line of defense is our bloodquantum.  All other issues are important, but have a tendency to cloud the very one that is important and need protecting and that is the bloodquantum!

At this writing the Pentagon and their colleagues are looking for an inclusion clause to be written into all policies for the 2050 Sustainable Plan.  This will devastate HHL and its people as in estrangements.  The will of our people will without reasoning implode--just because.  Blindly, and incapacitated both conditions will render the end of its nationhood.
