I have not deviated from this position since 1974 when women of DHHL asked for pitens from the revenues of the incomes and proceeds from their land.  I learned that 3,000 people were on the wait list and realized that we could not give up our Hawaiian Homestead and join the Office of Hawaiian Homestead.  So we asked again, in the 1978 Con Con, and was turned down.  We were about to loose our lease to a State entity.   We managed to stay separate and apart from the state, but there is a compromise coming in through the side door of the Veterans of the US Armed forces.  Homestead lessee are not taking this problem seriously and in so doing are creating a gentlemen's agreement among the partriarchy (mahu) of DHHL and others.

The problem is that what most Na Kanaka don't get or understand is that women could not become lessee until recently.  Not until Mrs. Padekan was the director of DHHL, did women step up and out of the Stockholm Syndrom.

This weekend native Hawaiian women crawled back into that hole.  Just as the Hale o na Allii o Hawaii did with their mothers iwi and so did, the descendants of the Royal Order of Kamehameha most recently did on the Rail AIS.

Native Hawaiian (wandering uterus) women populace will succumb to Partiarchy Society (mahu), rather than stand firm on their matriarchy.  It's much easier to walk away than to get arrested on the steps of Kawaiahao Church.

Personally, I would rather go to Halawa where I last saw Kawaipuna Prejean and eat the pili stones that was used to bury our ancient ancestors than give in to the Native Hawaiian Veterans of the US Armed Forces of  the military and their suppporting friends.

I say this because we may have one more cycle intergeneration on DHHL meaning:  great-great, great, grandchildren, children, father, mother grand pa, grand ma and greatgrandpa, greatgrandma, great-great grandpa, and great-great grandma.  This ancient living source will be gone, hoping not in my life time.

In other words, DHHL are for the children not the Veterans of the US Armed Forces and their corporate partiarchy that puts women into the abyss (warehouse) for their street pleasures.

  • I am listening to Dr. Kaku,

He shared that his parents although born in America they were sent to 'concentration camps'  in that experience his parents had nothing after they left the camp.  They had to realized their dream in their children, said Dr. Kaku.

How profound is that!  To realize a future in our children rather than wars of the future and nothingness!

Multi legacies through our children growing up on DHHL with all the possibilities of the our 'real' culture values and its practices.  A sense of place belonging to our ancestors realized in our children.

  • Thanks Kawehi for the response,

I mean mahu as in Patriarchy!

I got your communication and that is all that I can do.  On my part I don't step down or away when the need is great.  I move on, out here it is different from Waimanalo, things are much simpler there, I wish I did what my father said to do and take the Waimanalo house.  I wanted to give it to my younger siblings and I go out there and struggle cause I had the stamina to do so.

There is no blame or picking, I said nothing for three whole hours and when the f'en was coming out for the whole block to here, I spoke up you know me for years..I listen..it was being done infront of children.  And I graciously said that DHHL is for the succesors meaning children and believe you me there was a lot of children listening ...to the foul mouth.

As for as the Native Hawaiian Veterans, LLC check it out.  There brotherhoold human conditioning is 'Hookipa'  both agencies are supported by the Na Kanaka Veterans and plan to assert their culture values on our newly build Culture Homes on DHHL.  These are Hopper Homes that is the idea of the Pentagon in their sustainable plus plus plans.

While I have your attention,  this April EPA will be here and they will sanction the clean up of aresnal that they warehoused along the the shores of Maili beach.  Which will contaminate our Waianae shores especially where the birth defects are high.

The fishermen had sanctioned this project and I can't beyond their super egos.

So, I tried we will see what happens.  It is similar to what they did at Bellows.  I am not sure at this time because when asked they did not know.  All they said that the arsenal after it is shredded will be placed in a land fill.  These arsenal will be considered 'construction debris' once it is shredded of the its explosive contents back into the ocean shores.

We have a lot of 8(A)s out here that are Anglo corporations that disguise themselves as native Hawaiian veterans.  I 've had ten full years of military community meetings. And I blame the Pentagon Tad Davis for making the decision to clean scholfield of its DU and trucking it to Waianae from Oct 2009 and May 201 when the AEC and the NRC found out about their illegal trucking material full of nuclear isotopes.

Most of all I blame myself for not having the resources, time and energy to speak to this issue with people outside of the clicks that we seem to have when large issures needs to be discussed among ourselves.  When the military partiarchy shows up with their brotherly love for each other all the independence, national, and soverighnty goes right onto the streets!

I like what you said on the Rail AIS on youtube, Tane, myself and Pono sat and watched it again. We had a great discussion on Sunday.  Intend to stay on the Native Hawaiian Veterans, LLC that operates in our elementary schools conjoining their cartoon advertisements about the military and the safety of how to behave on our shores of Maili.  Like we went and dump the millions of arsenal off Maili Beach after World War II.

    Take care!!

  • Not sure what Kaohi is trying to do here and the only problem I see is a conflict of interest, where the HHCA 1920 in any event create a government for all those on the Hawaiian Homelands.  Use words such as "mahu" just set off all kinds of questions and issues with the way and words she uses here.

My mother and many of my aunties are the ones who got lands from Kuhio's hard work and their houses cost them 9-10,000.00 dollars...today, each house costs by American standards run anywhere from 80-100,000.00 and up.  What a rip.   That's  almost 900% times more for us to pay for a house!  I don't think so.  I would rather live in a grass shack on the beach that would cost me at max $10,000.00.

Kaohi you have to stop "picking" or "blaming" others for something they were not involved with.  Speak to the facts and points you really went there to speak on and stop rambling on.

    Aloha,

    Kawehi

  • I am listening to Cyrus Green who sang Kaulana Na Pua on the steps of Kawaiahao Church in protest on the day Hawaii turned over and prostrated to the US Armed Forces and became their 50th state slave.  Like the ones that I had encountered this weekend of the US military members that overthrew the Hawaiian Kingdom in 1893.
