not all kanaka maoli has their written mo'okuauhau (genealogy),
to lead them to their individual ahupua'a (sacred lands of their genealogy),
for even within our kanaka maoli society.....there were levels of authority,
from the Ali'i Nui to the Makaainana (commoners) of fishing, farming to the stone builders?
for not all kanaka maoli were given sacred lands to malama...for most was the commoners of the land,
not overseers, not leaders, and or not a konohiki seeking justice and fairness to all,
