Hawaiians To Get Homes On Kauai

Construction on 12 Kauai homes for native Hawaiians will begin next month.

The nonprofit Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement said Wednesday that families have been working with the group and the state Department of Hawaiian Home Lands to qualify for financing. They also have participated in pre-construction workshops on floor plans, cost estimates and government permitting.

The houses will be built in the Piilani Mai Ke Kai subdivision in Anahola.

    I find the reporting of the constructing of 12 homes for native Hawaiians on Kauai an Insult. A Clear Violation of the intention of the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act, the State of Hawaii Admission Act and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
    The Hawaiian Homes Commission Act, the State of Hawaii Admission Act and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs all was put in place to "better the conditions on native Hawaiians."
    The Hawaiian Homes Commission Act was passed in 1921, the State of Hawaii Admission Act was passed in 1959 and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs was created in 1978. All with the native Hawaiian, those of the 50% of the Blood Quantum of being a Hawaiian.
    I know of no other Indigenous Native people that have so many constitutional laws that supposed to protect the rights of a native people, then the native Hawaiians.
    Native Hawaiians and the rest of the people of Hawaii should be Outraged over this type of plans of building 12 homes for native Hawaiians on Kauai.
    In fact the incoming State Legislature should conduction an Audit of the Department of Hawaiian Homes.
    In today's Hawaii this type of plans of building homes for the 20,000 Plus native Hawaiians is HEWA NUI.
    Any native Hawaiian who supports this type of building of Homestead for native Hawaiian has to be of the Mind Set of Hitler.
    Since the passage of the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act in 1921 I believe that only about 8,000 native Hawaiians are living on their Promised Hawaiian Home Lands.
    Prince Kuhio gave his life for the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act. Today, most native Hawaiians also are giving their lives for the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act. As many native Hawaiians Die on the Waiting List for their Promised Homestead Home.
