U.S. Secretary of State Walter Gresham supported U.S. President Grover Cleveland and added that the status of the "pretended government"  was a farce on international relations. 

Secretary of State Walter Gresham knew that Annexation could never occur due to the conspiracy by the American Stevens who engaged in organizing "the pretended (Provisional) government, is to make a farce on international relations".  

Annexation could never occur because the Hawaiian Kingdom's laws were similar to the U.S. and other European nations laws.

The fundamentals of the Declaration of Independence were removed from the laws of the legitimate Royal government when U.S. President William McKinley had the Army, Navy, and other personnel  "develop" the Territory of the United States, turned Territory of Hawaii and made into the State of Hawaii by the Executive Order of U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1959.

Oppositions to Annexation were documented by Queen Liliuokalani and her 40,000 subjects in 1897, and Oppositions to Statehood in 1959 was made by a Kamehameha descendant's Harold Cathcart supported by his cousin Mary Keawe Kauweloa in 1959 - opposed Statehood.

Ten years later, In 1969, the U.S. Congress released the truth to the Library of Congress that there was no Annexation, Pearl Harbor was a lease -not owned by the U.S., and the Spanish- American War began four days before the authorization of  U.S. Congress according to the U.S. Constitution of 1787.

SUMMARY

The Hawaiian Kingdom/Kingdom of Hawaii was recognized as a Monarchy government in 1810.

Russia recognized the Hawaiian archipelago during the lifetime of Kamehameha as the Hawaiian archipelago.

Belgium recognized the Hawaiian Kingdom/Kingdom of Hawaii in 1841.

The United States, Great Britain,and France recognized the Hawaiian Kingdom/Kingdom of Hawaii in 1843.  Other nations later.

Queen Liliuokalani was dethroned in 1893 but under the rules of law, a Constitutional Monarchy can never be overthrown.

Kalola (female) descendants and successors exists, and are the land owners, title owners.

Bernice Pauahi Bishop's interest ended when she died in 1884.  Her banker husband died in 1915 and interest in land, etc. ceased in 1915.

Note:  Trustees are not the owners.  They were only administrators and can never own Allodial/forever lands.  Any claims made means they are pirates, pillagers, racketeers, privateers, etc.

Allodial titles/Permanent Titles are for the heirs and successors only.  Aliens can never own allodial titles/Permanent Titles but Fee Simple or Leases of 30 years only.

The Three (3) part Hawaiian government's permanent members are (1) the Sovereign, his heirs, and successors; and (2) the House of Nobles - their heirs and successors.  The third part is the temporary voted in part (3)  the House of Representatives.

Research shows that U.S. President Cleveland did indeed give Hawaii back to Queen Liliuokalani in 1893, 1894, and 1897.
