Hawaiian Issues Attracting Hollywood Tonight On Maui!

Maui Film Festival has announced that it will host the public world premiere of “ Hawaii A Voice for Sovereignty”, a documentary by award winning photojournalist Catherine Bauknight. This epic documentary will be showing as a Special Sunday Surprise film at 8:00pm on Father's Day Sunday, June 21st at the Solar powered SandDance Theater on Wailea Beach (below the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea) This documentary explores the identical issues of "Beyond Wailea", the adventure/fantasy/legal drama that has attracted the interest of Hollywood Producer Dave Phillips of Corner of the Sky Entertainment. It is hoped that prominent Hollywood actors will soon be expressing their interest in, and support for, the issues affecting Native Hawaiians. Everyone interested in Hawaiian issues are urged to show their support by attending this evenings presentation of "Hawaii - Voice For Sovereignty".
