Na Makua O Maui Nui.......is made up of our Recognised Native Hawaiian ohana's of Maui Nui.....in our generation of concerned Kanaka Maoli's, with the direction of our Na Kupuna of Maui Nui.
This is not a nonprofit greedy organization (one of Usa creations), that is coorperated by the federal, state and this county of maui.......remember we are already Recognised Native Hawaiians by the Laws of this State of Hawaii..(7/7/11 maui news).
We are not part of your american system.......in our Apology Bill Public Law 103-150......both Usa (county of maui) and United Chruch of Christ (Waiola Chruch) on our Sacred Ancestors Land.....APOLOGIZED and a Reconciliation have never been Acknowledged to our Native Hawaiians, period.......please read this over due Apology Bill, that has been ignored for 18 yrs. and nothing was ever done about it, till today.
SECTION 1---Acknowledgement and Apology
The Congress-
1).on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the illegal overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii on January 17th, 1893, acknowledges the historical significance of this evern which resulted in the suppression of the inherent soverienty of the Native Hawaiian people,
2). recognizes and commends efforts of reconciliation initiated by the State of Hawaii and the United Chruch of Christ wiht Native Hawaiians,
3). apologizes to Native Hawaiians on behalf of the people of the United States for the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii on Janurary 17, 1893 with the participation of agents and citizens of the United States, and the deprivation of the rights of Native Hawaiians to seff-determination,
4). expresses its commitment to acknowledge the ramifications of the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii, in order to provide a proper foundation for reconciliation between the United States and the Native Hawaiian people, and
5). urges the President of the United States to also acknowledge the ramifications of the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii and to support reconciliation efforts between the United States and the Native Hawaiian people.
Please heed this Apology Bill......congress, united states of americans, the federals, this state of hawaii, and the courts of maui county......you need to heed the Laws of our Lands.....FIRST.....not using paper technicality as an EXCUSE to continue this UNACCEPTABLE event of halloween on our SACRED Lands of our Royal Ancestors......this county of maui justice system needs to be educated of our Legal Rights as Recognized Native Hawaiians....mauruuru
