I was thinking it would be nice to take advantage of the chat option on the site. Perhaps we could all have certain nights to come on and chat about the topics at hand. It'll be a good way for all of us to communicate and share ideas.
What nights work better for everyone?

Tad Davis military, state of Hawaii governing entities, and environmental groups/truckers have been using Waianae Valley as an 'interim' storage for nuclear waste. The Jan 11 conferencing is being postponed for another week after because of logistics. Did locate Mili, thanks a bunch.
There is so much reading and writing to do so I will be busy, I hope to relax after this frontal egagement is over.

"Native Hawaiians constitute roughly 22 per cent of the state population, but they represent 54 per cent of the prison population.
They also have the lowest per capita income, the highest poverty rate and the shortest lifespan of any ethnic group in Hawai`i.
Hawai`i public school students receive very poor education by any standard of measurement. They consistently rank among the lowest of any state in test scores.
Most of the bright students who manage to learn something in spite of the handicapped school system leave Hawai`i for foreign colleges and careers.
Tens of thousands of residents have no medical insurance at all.
In some cases, the lives of the working poor are worse than the unemployed." Koani Foundation
I've copied and pasted this info. in hopes that your next chat would have some of this issues on board for discussion.
The governor ripped the DOE apart to shreds that is. But, it is interesting to see how some schools have figured out their strategies which includes college and career jobs. But it takes support from the business community and their working parents. Much of the people that do work in the schools live in the same community. So that's a plus.
But so sad, that where there is high concentration of Hawaiians there is nothing in place to further their education. Yes, I did read the news paper yesterday about the feds and Hirano in Waiamanalo Elm. But that's not going to happen, the governor already did her most damage and she has the majority rule on her side of the fence, when it comes to Hawaiians we just don't have the 'moral authority'
Talk about 'moral authority' what is that? Exactly, did you listen to born in Hawaii Obama and how he tried to reach out to all nations, I think 96 of them...beyond our Ka La ku okoa and friendly or neutral state, and then some. Moral Authority came up during Mr. Clintons 'apology' it was mea culpa literary works that demanded a majority rule or the populace.
If one understand the reasoning for West Point and the pre 'civil war' America drew the line at West Point between South and North. And again last night between those that were for the president and those against. Those against can surely 'shut up' or the patriot act would kick in especially those that are from Afgan in America and their afilliates. Let's see if Civil Rights kick in for the people of color when the time comes and it shows the amount of deaths from poverty communities. Being optimistic got no choice, hopefully the state to state kicks in between nations so that our soldiers will come home soon all 100,000. Or, north and south permanate lines drawn between nations well see... May 13, 1968 was the day that the whole nation got called up to serve in Vietnam and the war didn't end until 1978.
Oh well, one of my contentions at the time of the apology processes with the feds was Moral Authority and the late Wayne Kaho'onei Panoke and I had many conversations over conjoining the two Moral Authority and the Apology. Moral authority is a house of cards and the rules includes world order and their Tri-lateral leaders. Last night was a piece of cake for Obama, let's see how he fairs before the tri-lateral in 2010 Jan-Feb. Rep. Lee from Oakland, California that was super bravery on her part. Bless her heart for speaking against Obama the brother. Take care and thanks Kamatose. Kaohi
The Atomic Safety and Licensing Board (Board) would like to schedule a teleconference concerning the challenges to the Army’s application for a possession only materials license at two sites in Hawaii. The purpose of the teleconference is to discuss convening oral argument on standing and contention admissibility in either Hawaii or by videoconference in early January. The Board anticipates the teleconference should last no longer than about one hour. The Board wishes to hold this teleconference as soon as practicable, and it proposes either Monday, December 7th or Tuesday, December 8th.
