please remember..these people is the committee that is the constitution of this illegal county of maui....this is the bylaws of the positions of this county of maui...employees....yes....including the mayor of this county of maui.

there is 21 proposed charter amendments.....i will share a few....

#1). Shall section 3-2 of the chapter be amended to:

          a). increase the term of office for councilmembers from 2 yrs to 4 yrs.....i say no way!

          b). limit the service of councilmembers from 5 yrs. (2 yr. terms) to 3 full (4 yrs terms)~

#12). Shall Section 14-1 of the charter be amended to remove the authority of the council to propose charter amendments during any general or special election cycle in which the charter commision is conducting its mandatory review?~........

for me since the charter committee is part of this law making....(the constitution of our county of maui).....the county council members...do have a say....because they are the ones representing each ahupua'a....land division (kihei, wailuku, and lahaina) by all means the council and the charter should be working hand in hand for the Best Interest of our communities on our sacred lands....however i say to REMOVE all of the Intruders, the Strangers, and the Tresspassers....immediately....yes!!!

we need Traditional Kupunas voicing our concerns...not american illegal plantationers???

this above is only the proposed amendments....there is still a booklet of the constitution....

in my lap sits the "CHAPTER...county of maui.....edition of the original 2003 edition)

it states that...

This Charter, as revised, establishes the stucture and organization of the government of the County of Maui.....It is the consitution document, drafted in accordance with the will of the people, which defines the responsibility of our local government.....ACCOUNTABLITY.

i question of whos will and what people...for only the illegal plantatoners is being benefited from this charter of laws for the Best interest of the outsiders of foreigners....for i only Expose da Hewa.....more to learn and lessons to share to Apply and IMUA (move foreward)...to Kukanaka (stand tall)....mauruuru~~~da princess~~~of Loko O Mokuhinia...La Haina~~~
