Consent of the Governed explained

The consent of the governed must be amended by vote of the People. We saw and heard what happened in the South Dakota 2006 election. The foreign power in South Dakota unconstitutionally interfered in the election process that frustrated the People's ability to amend their consent of the governed in the manner set forth in "Amendment E" (The J.A.I.L. Amendment) pursuant to their inherent right to do so as acknowledged by the S.D. Constitution.
Consent of the governed is a political theory that says a government's legitimacy and moral right to use state power is, or ought to be, derived from the people or society over which that power is exercised. This theory of "consent" is historically contrasted to the divine right of kings and has often been invoked against the legitimacy of colonialism. Following John Locke's notion of a nation of "free and equal" citizens, the Founders of the United States believed that consent of the governed was the only legitimate basis upon which one "free and equal" citizen could exercise legal authority over another -- otherwise neither equal could overcome the other. Under the Turpie Resolution of 31May 1894, it states,
"Resolved, That of right-it-belongs wholly to the people of the Hawaiian Islands to establish and maintain their own form of Government and domestic polity; that the United States ought in no wise to interfere therewith, and that any intervention in the political affairs of these islands by any other Government will be regarded as an act unfriendly to the United States."
What is not mentioned is that the Provisional Government was set up by the U.S. conspiracy and maintained by their military forces and the people knew it. This government and the renaming of it as the Republic of Hawai'i was declared by President Cleveland as being neither de facto nor de jure which would mean that it was ipso facto. The people did not recognize its legitimacy and knew it was U.S. supported. Despite this, the people presented to U.S. Congress the Memorial and Ku'e Petitions of 1897 whereby 98% of the citizens of the Hawaiian Kingdom protested against annexation and for the restoration of the Queen as head of the Hawaiian Kingdom and its territory.which had a form of democracy within its Constitutional Monarchy and whereby the people had previously elected two of its monarchs. The people exercised its consent of the governed through the Ku'e Petitions and U.S. Congress acknowledged this which the Newlands Resolution ignored; thus the unlawful annexation occurred without a treaty of annexation that couldn't muster 2/3rds vote and was rejected and lacked the consent of the governed.
