Been there done that, Hawaii has been reducing their population since 1972 from the womb.  That whole thinking comes out of the Rockerfella foundation--grants are given to anyone that agree to zero population. Native Hawaiian women were hit and slapped across the head with this new world order during the 70s and with the permission of their men.  But that is then this is now.  We need to move on to building our communities up from the roots.  Collaboratively not sure where one can begin, I just know the difficulties of 40 years of yaya!  Poverty is a serious situation in Waianae, I have no ideas on resiliency's for our native Hawaii population.  Except to say upon closer examination one can see the beauty of our houseless and their tenacity to survive  under the stars, off the grid and the use of other people's discarded material things.
