Same-sex Marriage

What is one of the real issues here is that we are allowing our government officials to dictate what we should be voting on.

SB1

Wants to give same-sex couples the same rights as opposite-sex couples to marry and to receive benefits that provide Right of parents, Reliance on federal law, interpretation of terminology to be gender neutral, Refusal to solemnize a marriage this one is for those of you feel like Tenari Ma’afala, not to mention, the use  your land and your church for profit.   That all parties comply with application, license and limitations of the State of Hawaii, meaning you must not have an existing marriage, civil union, and must be dissolved by death or dissolution, and basically the same spousal support and our own marriages.  It does not cost any more money, in fact we make money.

So here is the other real issue I have with this bill, and this was taken from the S.B. No. 1 dated Oct 28, 2013:

"S.572-A …(a) Two individuals who are civil union partners or reciprocal beneficiaries…

"5572-1…[only between a man and a woman,] permitted between two individuals without regard to gender,…

(6) The [man and woman] parties to be married…

(7) The marriage ceremony be performed….to solemnize marriages and the [man and the woman] parties

"§5572-6 Marriages between [a man and a woman] two individuals regardless of gender…

And there is more of that throughout the bill…

Now we all have lost our recognition as a man and a woman, and reduced to contractual legal abyss known as an entity, which is by blacks law:  a lawful or legally standing association, corporation, partnership, proprietorship, trust, party or individual.  I do not agree with that description or definition in regards to this issue.

I do not and will not dictate to any person who they want to marry, unless you are a 2 time convicted felon for Domestic Violence of other people and have not rehabilitated yourself.  We need to ensure higher education for the people, our children, and ourselves before pointing the finger at anyone else like our colonizing predecessors.  Let us go by the way of her majesty Queen Lili’uokalani to be diplomatic with hopes to become a monarchical form of government once again.  E aloha kekāhi i kekāhi.
