He hoailona

As always, doing genealogy I am guided in so many directions. I used to think that it was me just being "niele" but I know better now that doesn't seem to be the case because of the constant coincidences and either bridging families together just as I get an email from someone I don't know inquiring about that particular line, or some things are being clarified as I wondered about it but never cared to research it or was doing it passively.Just recently something that was occurring here made me look more thoroughly through the old Hawaiian newspapers, particularly KA MAKAAINANA. Everything happens for a reason and all of these things came in at the same time. While searching, a couple of names were jumping out at me and I knew I've seen them before and knew who was inquiring about them. The names were Kinoole and Pitman. It was a cousin of mine who had a long, lengthy discussion about it, inquiring about it. So finally, realizing that I never entered those names into my database I figured I should look more into it since in KA MAKAAINANA Kinoole's genealogy was listed.I went through my old emails early this morning looking for the email from my cousin inquiring about it. I threw away nearly all of that except the initial email where he specifically asked me if I knew who Kinoole was and if I had her genealogy. Wow, and here was her genealogy that I came across last night while going through KA MAKAAINANA. The thing is, I printed some of the Mookuauhau Alii articles from KA MAKAAINANA but at random. Kinda at random. I picked like the middle of the year and began printing them going forward and backward from the middle of the year. Turns out I was reading through one of them last night, saw the name Kinoole & Pitman, saw Beckley on top of that and i wondered about that b/c I knew I had Beckeley in my database. And so everything came into play for that. Then the other reason why I searched the newspapers was that I knew Liliuokalani did not have any children of her own. Again, it was random when I started printing from KA MAKAAINANA, and what I saw last night of the ones I printed, just so happened listed Queen Liliuokalani and stating her marriage to John Dominis and at the end of that, AOHE PUA. Having no issue! He hoailona, or what? There were other things too, related to what I just wrote (Liliuokalani) and a particular "Princess'" genealogy. Again, from the random ones I printed out of KA MAKAAINANA came the genealogies leading up to that supposed ancestor of that Princess. No relation.Worse, there was claim that this Princess was the one who wrote these genealogies and specifically was a child of Queen Liliuokalani. It may have been that she could've written these, but if that's the case, why didn't she list herself as the child of Liliuokalani? Oh wait, probably b/c Liliuokalani was born in 1838 and this Princess I'm referring to was born in 1841. *rolls eyes*I don't doubt anything I find and it may seem like I'm going in blind and researching people at random, but I definitely don't see it as that anymore. I don't see it (anymore) as me intruding into one's genealogy that isn't of mine. I swear this has been the thing for me to do, beckoned by na kupuna. And if that weren't the case, then I wouldn't be able to find things the way I have and proving people by citing where I get the information from, and verifying that the names I find are who they say they are and not what these other people say they think are of the same person. In other words, my mother Judy Smith is not the same as all the other Judy Smith out there in the world. So don't get confused by one or even two names that just so happen to be the same as your ancestor's. Be careful when doing genealogy. Verify, if you can't get any oral confirmation as to the names of people.Oh yeah, I wondered why that blog post was deleted, the one that got me started to look up & verify these people as that person (who blogged) claimed they were. Seems like their account was deleted too. He hoailona!

  • I'm just reading this now 6 mos later and note that when I left Maoliworld for a season because of the A.G. still w/ a 6mos break it has not stopped. Reading these last few posts I agree with how she links up links and although she may think she is on the right path she crosses lines. You talk paternal you stay on links of paternal then when you talk maternal you stay on links of maternal. It only crosses when where could be a marriage and sometimes half sometimes just by marriage but it doesn't continue the link in the bloodline unless and only unless there are half ties. By marriage ties are considered "calabash ties" like you my cousins cousin but I not your cousin - we all have them. Hanai is a whole 'nother world which is like an ornament on a tree but in some link of the tree connection there is a blood tie sometimes by generations or two passed. It was there for political reasons - no touch her/him because as my family; dey get clout just as much as the DIRECT descendants. Maika'i on usuing skill and talents to empower and NOT devour...PAU!
  • I don't opt for surgery because it's fake. Like the INTERNET ALI'I LOL

ay u mean. lol I should be the internet alii since they claim I have...what was it, 1,300 or 13,000 videos? Shit, they are good at finding them b/c...not even I found all my videos yet. *rolls eyes*

    she epitomizes the PILAU

Doesn't she? I mean, angry, lashes out, and against Haoles and The-Erect-Snatcher-of-the-islands writes the same thing about F___ Haoles. WTF? lol Oh, but I'm the racist apparently for blogging about whatever. At least I don't hunt people down b/c I'm hurt and angry & bitter and post on MW for all to see.

Now discussing our looks when we are discussing GENEALOGY. IMMATURE and epitomizes that they are trying to DECEIVE the GODS.

Well, I post pics of people I admire all the time. Wouldn't you? You should be honored! LMAO

One of them is even POSING as the God KU.

Specifically, the snatcher of the islands. *rolls eyes* Where I come from, Ku & Hina were the prominent gods, unlike Kane. Many of the fishing shrines, in honor or Kuula, the school of sorcery, etc.

Gotta wonder though... where are THEIR pics?

Pahleez, unless you LOOK regal, you shouldn't be posting your pic if you claim to be it. So...that answers a lot of the questions. ;)

We don't resort to discussing her LOOKS though unlike some IMMATURE PEOPLE LOL

Yup, I never discussed it, never even thought of it.

Just got back from the gym.

Weird, I just went back THIS A.M.. I meant to do it last week, beginning of the month, but decided to go after I turn 42. lol
  • E Kalani,

I just use Dove soap and some sunscreen. Dove soap because the plastic surgeon who operated on my leg told my mom that it would help to make it smooth. I don't opt for surgery because it's fake. Like the INTERNET ALI'I LOL

Not sure why the FRAUDULENT ALI'I are saying we are wanna bes. Wanna be what? This is stating the obvious but I AM ali'i. Oiwi do not have to state the obvious though because the KOKO speaks for itself so wanna be what again? LOL

I would never associate myself with people like the Internet Ali'i for she epitomizes the PILAU in the few though rare PILAU oiwi such as arrogance, pilau, nasty attitudes, FRAUDS, and IMMATURITY. Wanna discuss genealogy then DISCUSS genealogy not how WE LOOK but this shows that while the oiwi world is way better there is always those pilau mutations who epitomize the WORSE in oiwi. She is one of them.

Get real! Who do you think protected me after being hit by a car? Who do you think is responsible for many people dying after doing shitty things to me... one of them was found in a trunk shot to death? THE GODS!

Nice try to try to deflect from the topic though it only shows that they she is the INTERNET ALI'I LOL

Gotta wonder though... where are THEIR pics?

Hiding epitomizes that they are HIDING SOMETHING.

Proof of their pilau and you and I both know that the GODS wanted her to be exposed.

We don't resort to discussing her LOOKS though unlike some IMMATURE PEOPLE LOL

FWIW I think that laughing helps me look younger than I am. That and WORKING OUT LOL (Just got back from the gym.)

    Latahs!
  • i used nuskin back in the 90s. lol
  • I'm trying to think that the face cream/moisturzer does take ages off by ten years. NU SKIN is the product line. I think Zango has brought products out with no chemicals (?). That was the discussion I had with an entreprenuer at McDonalds this past Saturday.

Well, I wanna be my normal self and have a normal life. However, there are more pressing issues such as the AKAKA BILL and CEDED LANDS. Yes, we are irritated at the this fact.
  • E Kalani...

LOL That is the price I pay in order to be able to donate to my causes. The industry it's very tough though I am tougher and it's the ONLY way I can donate to my causes in the least amount of time. My hair is a bit darker than that though. With blonde highlights LMAO

Aha Punana Leo is one of the best though! I wish I could donate more. Kalo is a great gift! Da ones you gave to me still growing in my raised beds LOL

    Latahs!
  • I've been criticized before, flashback to that yellowforum. LMAO But oh well, must suck to be them! And as these lolos on MW said, I'm...or you and I are wannabes. Wannbe what? Wannabe irritated? We're already there! lol
  • E Alice,

Yeah I didn't know til later about your education. Education impresses me. So does class so of course I am impressed!

I nevah know you are one year younger than us though. I thought you were MUCH younger so I had to look in the alumni directory just to make sure LOL Of course I saw your year and it shocked me.
  • I must admit, I still got pizzaz. I do the same too to donate eventhough hubby is not for it. Just imagine the the good we do for others because we want to, not because we have to. I'm still working on the scholarship fund and will use the sauce company to fund it. Like anyone else who attended post secondary education, it cost money. We applied, got some and so forth yet never enough to cover all expense. I'm happy for scholarships that are created to help others pursue their career goals.

As for other po'e, they have their own goals and ambitions. Talk about genealogy, it coming from the left and right and I smile and grateful for the 'ohana that visits. Although I may not have the answers they are looking for, but they know my intentions are PONO.

I don't BRAG or BOAST either. I share my worldly possessions and seek a higher calling from AKUA and na kupuna. Use your skills and talents to empower. The sun will shine and you won't make everyone happy. I just hope that a picture of me shows my best side. I kinda chuckle, the camera makes all of us larger than the real thing.

There are po'e who offer kokua and I'm very grateful - non kanaka maoli. They focus on helping us with our issues at hand - MAHALO!

    MAHALA KE AKUA!
  • I actually flipped it 180 degrees to show a ka ona so while it looks like me

yup, to be more kuulei-like, all haole? LMAO nah, j/k.

I also donate 10% of every check to my causes. Like Aha Punana Leo.

I gave them my kalo stalks. lol That's giving back to the aina.
