I love beautiful Makua, as a kid when all the shacks was there, back in the 70's it was my go to place............ it still is my favorite place..........to all the people that continue to malama, like a big Mahalo Nui to Lianadra who has whole heartedly thrown herself into preserving what she can and to malama a spot she has taken on as her kuleana and chasing away people who only like hana ino and inviting and teaching as well those who thirst for knowledge.................. Bill Aila and his Malama Makua has a Makahiki every year there, and also a Easter ceremony early in the morning in the Valley, if anyone has a chance to go please do...........Mahalo for making this group aloha.........
