We didn't win but am very pleased of the outcome. 

Grass rooted push really paid off knowing that our votes came from clean campaigning, no endorsements by unions, no special interest groups, private organizations. Clean grass rooted votes

Mahalo Hawai'i kakou, Moloka'i, Lana'i, Kaua'i, O'ahu, Hawai'i, all that supported us here on Maui, my Maui gang, the many Ohana that came out to kokua, mahalo nui. 2 years will come fast and will be well prepared.

      • sINCE corporations are viewed as people does that mean that when a corporation is found to be criminal, will everyone in that corporation be thrown in jail? just a thought...

        • Perez Gale To me it is like flesh and blood people who were now given a role to play and in that role has put on a costume that represent someone It may look like them and speak like them but not realizing they have now been changed from flesh and blood to an object for commerce, there are a few that have not been captured, those that are they function accordingly unaware that the puppeteer is pulling the strings of their life, and as long as we can eat, have a place to call home even if it is not the best place where our ancestors lived and now the food they been selling us is questionable, and also they have to control us in every means they have to do so. But now the flesh and blood people have realized what is happening and now have choices to stand for what is true or pono or continue to cooperate with the puppeteer to as some say "survive". To me when the corporation the puppeteer who started the whole thing is exposed, all those people who are unaware of the Hewa they were part of should not be held accountable, but if they knew and willingly went along is a different story. So to me no, all the people who worked with the corporation are not guilty. And this should be brought out in some kind of tribunal. ko'u mana'o
        • Amelia Gora i think a trial should be held, when found guilty, the CEO's should be removed, then the people should take over the corporation and funds paid to those who suffered losses...........the CEO's locked in jail at a set amount of time.......placed in a glass dwelling so that they could be viewed as animals..........lol...........the CEO's are the ones who have the government supporting them, including the military..........and in actuality, there could be a turnaround because the people will realize that they can take back their government, etc.................so, all corporations should be under scrutiny by the people.............corporations gone bad will belong to the people.... lots of changes would occur especially when the problematic ones are exposed............and, time limitations must be implemented............that would be a sense of democracy......all the CEO's would "run for the hills" .......it would at the least, make a good movie! ;p

        Unless I am being spoofed, several hundred readers wrote me in as their selection for President. I am honored. Some asked if I were elected by write-ins and not instantly assassinated, who would I appoint?

        An easy question to answer.

        Nomi Prins would be Secretary of the Treasury, and Pam Martens would be Deputy Secretary of the Treasury.

        Lew Rockwell would be the chairman of the Federal Reserve.

        Michael Hudson would be chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors.

        Harvey Silverglate would be Attorney General.

        Glenn Greenwald would be Deputy Attorney General.

        Dean Booth and Larry Stratton would be White House legal counsels.

        Willie Nelson would be Secretary of Agriculture.

        Jeffrey St. Clair would be head of the Environmental Protection Agency.

        Elizabeth Warren would have whatever post she wants.

        Cynthia McKinney would be Secretary of State.

        The CIA would be headed by Ray McGovern and Philip Giraldi.

        The FBI would be headed by Sibel Edmonds.

        Homeland Security would be abolished.

        David Ray Griffin and Richard Gage would head the 9/11 investigation.

        Bradley Manning would be in charge of closing down the torture prisons.

        Julian Assange and John Pilger would be heads of the Public Broadcasting Corporation.

        Key members of the Bush and Obama regimes from the president down, and every neoconservative would be handed over to the war crimes tribunal for trial.

        I could go on. There are two or three hundred appointments to fill, but I think the picture is clear. It would be an administration that represented Americans, not special interests and foreigners, and an administration that put the country back in order.

        But, of course, it is all a dream. No one who actually cares about our country is permitted to serve in public office.

        You are wrong. Original firearms derived from cannons used in combat. They are weapons used to cause damage. That is their original purpose. And I love every single on of my weapons.

        Well not only are you completely unfamiliar with the history of firearms, but you also dont realize that a firearm is by definition a weapon.

        Does a car stop being a car because a hobo uses it as a home? Does it stop being his home when he exits the vehicle? Things are what they are for more than just what we use them. They are what they are for what we use them, for what they were designed for, and for how we know them to be used. A gun is a weapon. A sword hanging on the wall is no less a weapon for its inactivity or lack of use.
