and the second thing he did within the same 'ha' was to try (unsuccessfully) to stop DHHL and the Mott Smith Drive residence from evicting his mother.  A place that she has had for most of her life as well as Gail Prejean's birth place and growing up there too!

There were numerous fronts that was so mind boggling at that time, and Gail Prejean took 'em all on while some of us stood on the side and tried our best to stand on the frontline too.  Sadly, other's used every tactic to undermind the sovereignty movement which was to protect our aina, families and our iwi.

Check out Laulani's site, one can see and hear Gail Prejean's last speech!  It's real and for me a bitter sweet ending.  The last time I saw Gail was at Halawa's protest stand for our ancient bones that was covered with pili stones.  Gail and I stood next to the birthing stone.

I know who was there and who was not there.  And yes the same idiot that slammed Gail Prejean each day  is doing the same dam thing to discourage others from learning the truth about what's going on outside of it's closet!  I always gave that person the benefit of the doubt, because I trusted everyone in our movement that was present.  Critically, Gail stood for our people and not too many people have that much courage.

  • It takes courage to take a Pacific Islander stand against the odds, and I truly understand those that sit on the fence stay home and do nothing.  But, it's unforgiving to let a slime from hell stop your thinking process!  One should not stop questioning the validity of my 'word' or anyone else's.  When the connection stops that laids tract into our islands from those that want to see the 'death' of our people rise and keep rising.

It takes courage to say 'no more' and let your voice be heard.  Let your voice be heard on issues!
