Check out this about Hawai'i from the NY Times !!!

Aloha Kakou,

The following is the introduction to a blog in today's (4.30.11) NY Times. While it may be sarcastic in nature, it also raises the very real possibility that those in opposition to President Obama may cause the Hawai'i issue, that is the question of whether Hawai'i is a fake State,  to be brought to light. Wouldn't that be something!!!

Can Hawaii really be considered a state? Does anybody really believe that a volcanic island chain — described in Wikipedia as “physiographically and ethnologically part of the Polynesian subregion of Oceania,” a place that does not observe daylight savings time — is the sort of thing the founding fathers had in mind? And what is it doing all the way out there anyway?

O.K., I made that up. But judging from the goings-on this week, it is not too far-fetched to think questions like these might be floating around the opinion-sphere in coming days. ...

The complete blog can be seen at http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/04/29/dont-stop-believing/?nl=todaysheadlines&emc=thab1.

Aloha Ke Akua

wow!  what did I miss a conversation..oops more than a conversation!

    Kai--taking this piece by piece...

My opinion --one spoke to Jon Van Dyke?  Super ugh, ugh, ugh!!  I'm in the positon of the "bloodquantum"  because of Jon Van Dykes operation since the early 70s.  He had no intentions except for malice.   I have both in my family the crown and DHHL and  its a lot of work on a daily bases to maintain both.  The family ignorance and the false 'uncles' jamming the communications wins out.  The US military armed forces did a good job of training their military soldiers.

We are still on land and after reading both conversations,  it seems to me one is missing those of us on the land still.  We did not go away and join the 'white' life style come home and say 'I want back to the land'.  Or, better still join Jon Van Dyke to kick those of us on the land off!  As in genocide!

The Crown lands were a lost cause  because of Quiet Land Title and a battle for the future!  That is how we saw it during the 1978 con con.  What we had was the children descendants (Alii) of the origin of the 'Rehabilitation" for native Hawaiians' under the Organic Act.  Only 200,000 acres and those that choosed to occupy the land via lease agreement with the 50% plus bloodquantum at that time was being threatened by the 'unification' of Jon Van dykes plan.

Years gone by, you are blaming (Uncle flaming) and the end tentacles Mr. D'Alba which I feel is the correct thing to do.  But, I also feel that the protection of the 200,000 acres and its people are far more important.  In my opinion far more important than Jon Van Dyke his intent of theft of the crown.  Throw the dog the bone and keep a watchful eye on the 200,000 acres and its people.   To do this is to not join the end game of the flaming uncles!

Jon Van Dyke had every imaginable tools of the trade at his finger tips and the flaming uncles (his fingers up their asses).  The very weaknesses of the native Hawaiian people is their own sexuality!  And the flaming uncles are their preying on these weaknesses.  Jon Van dyke was part of the University of Hawaii at Manoa in trying to legalize child porn.  Need to see this connection!

Sever the heads of these Uncles that are the 'ink' spreading through-out cyber space with their poision.  The Human Trafficking organization was able to stop Dr. Diamond dead in his connection between research UH Manoa and legalizing child porn just this year.

D'Alba's and his kine existed in the 70s and we were not stupid, however, looking at the crown land issues it was an anomaly.  It was not maka'ainana..it was for those that left the island came back and joined the corporate setting.  We those of us on the 200,000 acres were considered too dirty to touch! This was their very basis of argument for unification.  We were to insignificant and therefore indispensible. This is the business of doing business out here in the Pacific which did come about when Mark Twain came to our shores.  Its a new day and a not so new battle!

Yes, times have changed and you are presenting a wonderful argument, intent, and acting in good faith...but my problem is that one is slipping into the very hands of the very fools game.

A step away from the game!  I went to PCC last night to see 'HA' and when Fiji came on (the dateline) came on they killed the father of the 'Ha' grown child.  It was interesting.  The dateline was because of the Long Ago argument with Argo (French) and Captain Cook (Greenwich) actually not true it dates to Catholic verse all else for maritime wars.  This argument was defintely used for the bloodquatum reasoning.  We became non Catholic on the maritime by vying for the opposing side. We are in the midst of trade war battles on the high seas 'with no ahi fever in Waianae'  because we can't get a permit.  So something is sickening in Waianae.  Which is martial law in my opinion.

Thanks for being out there and caring for our children.  In truth I don't see anyone out there taking care of our children except where there is apporpriations!

    Mahalo for all your aloha

    • Aloha Kaohi, kala mai if it seems I support Jon Van Dyke.  I just spoke with him to hear his man'o on Gingold. I believe I did put it out at the time.  I have always felt that Mr. D'Alba did not understand the issue [the people on the land] and was spotty on the law.  If he believes Mr Gingold to be "Brilliant" it is not shared with my friends in the original nations over there in America.

The land is still there and only in claim and trespass do Americans occupy Hawaiian lands.  I only seek to respond here to something I find curious.  Mr. D'Alba just wants to help the Hawaiians, but his language "Reinstate, native Hawaiian and peaceful means" suggests he is not working intimately with us.   I suggest he contact someone like you and spend some time learning.  I do NOT know who Paul Cox is and why he is making a film with D'Alba.  Is Paul Cox an Hawaiian subject?

In the end I would like to see more people [not specified haole or anything] join us.  But you need join us and not come to conclusions for Hawaiians.  As you say, your not stupid and have corrected me a few times.  I would just say Hawaiian understandings that dont come from the people top the land are colonial understandings, well intentioned or not.

As for PEACEFUL MEANS that is written into our founding documents and so to remind Hawaiians of their own nature seems suspect in light of recent claims out of UH Hilo.

      Aloha nui loa

  • Aloha Kai,

Who is it that you thinks backs me? The only person who ever backed me with regard to the Hawai'i issue was Uncle Rodney Kauanoe Kaleialoha. He was paid back in full once I was able to.

We should talk. If you'd prefer for me to call you please email me your phone number. My email address is : jpulehu@hotmail.com.

    Aloha no,

    j.

  • Aloha Kai,

Yes, I certainly remember speaking with you about the possibility of pursuing a Class Action Lawsuit on behalf of your people. I did bring to the table the Attorneys who have succeeded in the largest such lawsuit in history against the US, and they were interested in assisting the Hawaiians. Yes, money is a motivating factor to many, but please do know that this is not what motivates me. I do not  have any financial relationship with the Attorneys, but I did keep my word. A telephone conference was held, and several Kanaka did participate. If you were not one of them, I apologize. If you are interested in speaking with them, I can give you their contact information.

My motivation is justice for the Kanaka Maoli, and justice for the world. For nearly three years I assisted in the defense of an Action to Quiet Title to Land on Maui. I DID NOT RECEIVE A DIME! When the developers tried to buy me out, I walked away. The reason why I have not gotten back to you is the Attorneys lost interest after not receiving support from the Hawaiian community.

Your anger is understandable, and I applaud you for closely scrutinizing any ha'ole who offers assistance. My people have taken advantage of the Kanaka Maoli since we first learned of your existence. The history of ha'ole involvement in Hawai'i is deplorable! But, not every ha'ole is of corrupt heart and it is my belief that you hold the key to world peace. The legacy of Her Majesty Queen Liliu'okalani of peace is so badly needed by the world today. Everywhere we look we see war and devastation. Yet, when a small  Pacific Island Nation was invaded by the world's largest military power, their Great Sovereign chose peace over the barbaric concept of war. Yet, we have the audacity to call you the barbarians! Nonsense.

Why do you feel the Attorney's would represented the Native American Indians cheated them? I'm sure they would be interested in hearing this and given an opportunity to respond. You may have a point, but I have found Dennis Gingold to be very forthright and seemingly honest, but I have never met him. Probably the best person to ask would be Eloise Corbell who headed the class for the Native Indians. She may agree with you, I don't know, but she is the one to ask! When I did speak with Dennis we did discuss the return of the Crown Lands to the Kanaka Maoli as being of highest importance. This would be the objective, and the Attorneys would be paid from the money derived for damages from the US for the "benefits received" from the unlawful occupation of these lands. This would be the perfect win-win-win situation - The Kanaka get their land returned, the Attorneys get paid, and the world sees that justice can be obtained BY PEACEFUL MEANS even against a nation as large and powerful as the US.

The developments in the Middle East and Africa are consistent with the manao of the Kanaka Maoli - everyone, everywhere wants to be free! I have long thought that Hawai'i would take the lead for truth and justice, but other nations have assumed that role. But, the importance of Hawai'i to this cause remains of the highest priority. Justice for the Kanaka Maoli will provide you with what you deserve, and it also provides the US the opportunity to live up to its belief in the rule of law. Most importantly, it establishes the legacy of Her Majesty as the principle that will lead to world peace!

Please feel free to contact me if you'd like to discuss this further. I can be reached at 814.806.0800.

    Malama pono,

    Aloha Ke Akua,

    j.

    • I appreciate that you feel it worthy to take the time to respond.  But it is worrisome that you could not understand the effect on the Original nation people affected by the Corbell settlement. First off the numbers alone create an obvious theft.  It was reported that somewhere between 45 and 100 billion dollars in back payments for royalties was owed to private party beneficiaries. we do not know the real number because the department of the interior [represented by Gail Norton] refused to supply an accounting of monies owed.  The settlement was for 3.4 billion dollars of which 2 billion was put into an OHA like agency.  So were you suggesting that like the plains nations Hawaiians should settle for 3- 7 % of monies owed to them?

Secondly these attorneys by agreeing to a settlement like this give legal cover to widespread fraud on the part of the US government.  One of the most threatening ideas is the one that says "Lets get what we can, before we can get nothing at all"  It that you?

I am not angry with you, I am forewarning the Kanaka about someone playing fast and loose with Hawaiian interests.  I would also say this is not a "N[n]ative issue or that of Haole in terms of a definition of white or no koko. Perhaps as foreigners who come in to mislead people with good intentions or not.  I become very nervous when I see people [haole or whatever] try to frame rights in Native of indigenous terms. So what, are Hawaiians rights different than white christian rights?  A sensitive answer is still depositive of deprivation of rights.  We not only do not need to claim native or indigenous rights, we have superior rights as beneficiaries and deed holders of the aina. so please, no mo da native guys, da hawaiian american guys.  IT IS THE HEIRS AND SUCCESSORS OF THE HAWAIIAN KINGDOM AND NOT KANAKA MAOLI per se who own the allodium absolute.

Your word on the teleconference, well not so fast.  We spoke after the conference and your promised two things. 1) you would write a report and email it to me, where is it? 2) that another conference call would be set up, when was that done?  Yes I could call Gingold, but from talks with people who know him and where involved in the Corbell suit, I felt it a waste of time.

I do not believe you have received money. Would you get money if and when a settlement was reach?  I think there was a good chance of that.  Of course the proof would only be after the fact and that becomes counterproductive to Hawaiians claiming and exercising their rights.

Yes we need attorneys very desperately.  One thing we have found is that you get what you pay for with lawyers and free lawyers are the most costly in the end.  They have separate and personal  interest when it comes to issues like the Crown lands.  I have found many qualified law firms willing to take up this matter, if you wish to help, then work to raise the 150,000 dollar retainer we need to begin.

It is a very winnable lawsuit, but a trillion dollars in asset deserve the proper investment and a third of it given to lawyers is not on the table

      Aloha Kai

      • Aloha Kai,

This is my third attempt to reply, the first two dropped after extensive writing. Here are quick answers to your questions.

        1. Yes, the numbers prove theft, but by the US, and the imperfection of the US Justice system.

        2. No, the Heirs and Successors of the Hawaiian Kingdom  should NOT settle for 3 - 7% what they are due. The goal is to get your land back by peaceful means so you have a physical basis to reinstate your Kingdom. Only an Action in Equity (NOT LAW) can do this!

        3. "Lets get what we can, before we can get nothing at all"  It that you?  NO. I believe you should act when the time is right and that time is now!

        4. Question every Ha'ole up and down before you get involved with them!!!

        5. Indigenous Rights are identical to White Christian Rights! I can only be free if you are free! Free Hawai'i and Free Da World!

        6. Sorry if I neglected writing back to you. I am not perfect but have been attempting to help the Hawaiians since 1996.

        7. No, I have no financial interest in your case and would not receive money. I Would hope to receive choke aloha although I have already received more than I deserve.

        8. Be careful in thinking a law firm is qualified. The Heirs and Successors of the Hawaiian Kingdom can use a Class Action Lawsuit to get the Crown Lands, and others, back, but only through an ACTION IN EQUITY. This is key!!! Ask the law firms if they have ever filed a Class Action as an Action In Equity. No, they have not!  This is how Dennis Gingold succeeded. He is brilliant!

        9. Paul Cox and I are working on a film about how Actions to Quiet Title are used to deprive Hawaiians of their land, and how this ALL ties into the illegal actions of the US in 1893. I intend to establish a trust to benefit Hawaiian causes from this film and will work to direct the trust to aid legal action.

        10. No Dennis Gingold would not take anything close to a third! In Corbell his Team of lawyers, who worked for more than ten years, received less than 4%!!! But I do not speak for Dennis Gingold, nor have I ever met him.

        Hope this  helps.

        Malama pono,

        Aloha Ke Akua,

  •        President Obama knows the history of what happened on January 16, 1893.   Obama can not say, O I never know that's what happend!

Obama knows that the AKaKa BILL that is presently in Congress is in violation of the U.S. Constitution.

Obama knows that there was no overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom.

Obama knows that Hawaiian Nationals want to FREE HAWAII.

Obama knows that the movement to FREE HAWAII grows larger and larger every day.

Obama knows the difference between what is Black and White.

    • A'e Uncle Pomai, he does know these things. Notice has been given and yet piracy is still the basis of our relationship.  auwe

      Kai

  • Aloha Kakou and hello Mr. D'Alba,

Mr. D'Alba we have spoken in the past and you had made many assertions about organizing help for the Hawaiian beneficiaries of the Crown land trust.  It is interesting you see the possibilities as I do that a court action to secure control to the Hawaiians could be very effective,  Sadly you are not a man of your word and failed to arrange a discussion with the Attorneys you lobby for.  I had to speak to Mr. Van Dyke to find out the substance of these " Corbell" [The lawyers who cheated plains Indians out of BILLIONS of dollars] lawyers attempting to create a class action suit.

I would warn other Kanaka to take care of your efforts and I can only see money as your interest the more I looked into who backs you and how your approached this massive injustice.  You are smart enough to make a compelling argument, but your are hollow in the middle.

You tried once to derail justice for personal gain, please leave how Hawaiians address their rights to those who are pono.  I was still waiting for your promised report and so this is my report on you.

    YOU FAILED

    Auwe ke i'a
