  `Umu Hau Pöhaku - Hawaiian Rock Wall Project Saturday and Sunday, No
 vember 6th and 7th, 2010 at the Beatrice H. Krauss Hawaiian Ethnobotan
 ical Garden of the Lyon Arboretum. This is the first phase of our proj
 ect to build a traditional Hawaiian meeting house (hale halawai) in th
 e garden. The workshop is limited to 40 adults, who must be able to li
 ft 40 pounds. The foundation stage of traditional Hawaiian house const
 ruction will be led by Kumu Palani Sinenci of Hana, Maui. For those un
 able to volunteer, but who would still like to kökua we are always lo
 oking for donations for food and drinks for the workshop participants.
